Base game is ok but all they add for new maps is the stupid expiditions so basiclly a no effort one quest chain with a option or 2.

Fun but not entirely realistic lost half my party to a sand storm that never should have been a major issue when your RIGHT next to the wagon just take shelter seriously. Snake bite accidently shooting ones self ok cool with those injuries. Pelts for making money yes please. A Bisson only giving 30 lbs of meat??? Seriously? SERIOUSLY?? I know you want to make it a tad harder but comon. also allow for more hunting >.>

The Military system while good on paper is trash. The whole goverment system is sadly to its way to rigid the goverment IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for the entire economy they do help in places and encourage at times and can with the wrong policies ruin it (look at another paradox game city skylines for a example). The Goverment system needs to allow for further lowering/slashing goverment employees in times of finicial need. The Goverment system needs to be allowed to be run with a balanced budget not me trying to wrangle in (with no help from the system since I can't slash employment or close/sell goverment buildings some allow for it some don't) the spending which ALWAYS runs out of money even with me trying to make little changes and growing the tax base but IT IS NEVER ENOUGH.

Overall allow for a more balanced budgeting system and while I doubt they will but you really need to revert to the mil system in Vic2 or a HoI style system. I understand what you were trying I really do with the mIlitary system but lets be honest you fell flat on your face with this one it came out horrible.

Historical campain is yeah its just a thing and its bad. You have navies like the Austria Hungry emp running around with massive dreadnaught fleets they never had. Ships seem to horribly innacurate when battling sad is it is to say I'd rather play WoW ships thier guns are far more accurate.

Dwaven fun times mixed with bug killing whats not to love?

That aside its a decent turn based game with various types of cover and various items in the enviroment you can smash, blow up, shoot, or topple to help you kill those pesky enemies.

Fun game have had lots of fun playing single player and multi player.

Came back to try this again after months. They have ironed out the issues it had very nicely. My only 1 issue with the game is I can't look into the control scheme due to all it showing is the setup for a controler (I play with keyboard and mouse). Left the original written review for the original posts context.

Yet another in a long line of games that needed additional polish before being released. I have a custom Laptop that runs into the FPS issue (so it refuses to run) and on my older tower it detects the wrong screen settings and makes it so large I can't find any of the settings to fix it. Also being default set for a controler is nice if I played with one but I am on a PC so i use Keyboard and mouse and to change it to that its hidden in some odd section that isn't under controls.

What I did see when I could play a little it looks like a nice world setting can't say anything about the combat it was to laggy to try.

Off to request a refund I go I refuse to wait for yet ANOTHER game that came out half baked and needed more work to eventually get fixed.

Whats below is older and still applies ultimatly but lets get to the current joy. Subs were never to be implemented if they couldn't be balanced. Well guess what they aren't historically balanced and now join Carriers in the we don't play as we functioned historically (Carriers don't have infinite aircraft among other things). So sub promise broken sub play broken why you might wonder well its war games so answer is MONEY must feed the never ending cash grab.

Game Play wise its rather fun but with the ever growing need to feed the cash grab beast its going full loot box gambling mechanics with the usual ever crazy low chance to get what you really want. while I had not as big a problem when I wanted to buy a premium ship I may have wanted gambling to me is no no especially in a game in Europe is targeted to 7+ and in US 14+ yep lets get them hooked on gambling early ummm NO.

It looks like it could be a lot of fun but waging wars is just not fun for me anyway.
