What a gem this game is. A slow reveal story, with a nice variety of puzzles. Overall very charming and enjoyable. I finished the whole thing in 9 hours but i think there are a few different endings so I'm going to go back and try unlock those.

My only complaint and its very minor: I wish there was a way in the main menu screen to see how many of the endings has been completed or are yet to complete.

Played it for 5 mins and now I'm upset because I will never get those 5 mins back. I don't mind idle games, but this one did not grab me whatsoever and I don't care enough to try it for longer.

Its a really basic puzzle game. I finished the whole thing in 2 hours and I've no interest in going back. The time mechanic is mildly interesting, and the story holds some interest, but saw the ending coming from a mile off and I just wan't invested at that point. It's geared much more towards the casual player, much more of a mobile style game then PC. And definietly not worth the $15 price tag. If you want to buy this get it when its heavily discounted. Just don't go in expecting much. But there are better adventure games out there with better graphics, voice acting, puzzles and story so I'd recommend those instead. Try Tex murphy, Broken Sword, Lost Horizon... Theres a bunch of games better then this one and are pretty cheap on steam most of the time. My 2 cents anyway...

This game hardly needs another positive review, but its getting one anyway!

I love this game. I love everything about it. I love the characters, the town, the freedom, the music, the farming, the mining... There is always so much to do, another upgrade to aim for, another challenge around the corner. Just one more day.. just one more day.

Its charming, it has heart, its super addictive and its definetly worth a go. Before you know it you'll be sucked in too.

You should probably only buy this game
-if you're a die hard AC fan and want to experience the entire series
-You're willing to overlook certain flaws (framerates are ordinary, pop up is terrible, clunky movement.)
-You care more about story then gameplay
-its on sale for like $5 bucks or less.

Plus I recommend playing on a controller if you can.

There are some aspects I liked. Aveline for me was a pretty good character, and its the first 'main' game to feature a female lead. Its still got all the usual intrigue and mistique you expect from an AC, artefacts, mysterious characters and the like. But the fact she has to play 'dress up' is just annoying. Navigation by canoe was clunky as F*** and not enjoyable. It made me get annoyed anytime I had to return to the Bayou. The whole thing just feels a little half-arsed to be honest.

All up its 10 ish hours to complete the main stuff, plus some side stuff on top of that. But its the worst AC in the whole series in my opinion.

"Why is everyone saying this game is so good" you might be wondering. "Its just a dating sim, right?"

Well yes.. in its own unique way. But then it gets next level meta. It's so clever and so well done. Don't read anymore reviews, just play it to know what everyone else is talking about. ^_^

I've played heaps of FF games before but had only ever dabbled in MMOs before. The free trial was enough to get me interested, but what hooked me was the community. And the fact each character can play any class. Oh and the different types of classes, PVP, main story quest.. so much to like about this game. There is a lot of support for newbies and a very welcoming community. And its a final fantasy too! Highly Recommended

Not many narrative games will get me to play them through more then once. FFX is the exception. I've played this game more then 5 times through. Every time it gets me *right there* all over again. If anything I think I enjoyed the remaster even more then when I originally played this on the PS2 years ago. Its a classic and a benchmark which I judge all other JRPGs on. FFX-2 is strong enough in its own right (althought it kinda ruins the canon a bit for me but its still solid gameplay) and I never got access to last mission until this remaster dropped. Its a dungeon crawler and a pretty good one at that. A great little bundle and anyone who hasn't played FFX just should.
