EULA are inactionable coercive contracts designed to allow companies to force you to sign away your rights so they can do things that are otherwise illegal, however as they are not optional they are already themselves illegal.

Games are products, not services. and my private data can only be sold if I am to take a cut of the profits.

Sorry for the random beef btw, was kinda just ♥♥♥♥♥♥' tired of seeing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ appear in my feed who complain about pronouns and ♥♥♥♥ and saying there's only 2 genders, non-binary people are stupid and/or mentally ill, etc. that I just assumed you were one of them. My B for rushing to conclusions.

T:Jenks, you should see how Itch.io works. Forget being forced a EULA. What Itch.io does is far worse. Due to NDA, can't say the title, but you may most likely know by following description. A small developer made it huge, with my help, and several of my contacts. The developer put a donation level for multiplayer, which brought in well over a million. At some point, they did multiplayer, but everyone who paid was told if they want multiplayer, they have to pay again. When we went to point out that we already paid for it, everyone found out, that specific level was deleted. If you let's say donate $100 for five keys, don't be surprised you only get 1. This is because any developer can change the receipt long after the sale is done, like this author did. I was actually given a key, but all the ones who donated money first time around like I did, got nothing. As for being forced to click a EULA, long after buying, if the game isn't Steam/Valve, I use a memory editor, and bypass.

Game arbitrarily updated and forced a EULA through that must be accepted to access. EULAs are considered coersive contracts since they cannot be denied, but everyone has the right to access and use products they purchased.. I know there's many who lack the cognitive awareness to wrap their heads around this since they shrug it off, click accept, and piss their rights away, but I wont. I didn't read the EULA and it can't harm me in any way since a contract can't bypass human rights, but I won't accept this audacity.

I put in a friend request. Your game library is a billion times better than Steams suggestions. Sorry for the wall spam. I added a bunch of titles I had no clue ever existed. I tend to play Terraria and Starbound sandbox type titles. I'm no longer doing game promoting, and yes, this is the same Lord-Xanthor who promoted Ultima Online back in the days, the MMORPG that paved the way to what we see today. After leaving Stratics, I promoted promising titles but stopped in 2022, after getting burned by 3 different companies. You have great taste in games.

Wow, your pretty spot on with your reviews. Sorry for wall spam. Two unfinished games you should be careful of, still being sold in the store as complete. After Reset, and Edge of Space. After Reset is a $50 game that only has a party working tutorial, and when closed, keeps a driver running in background to burn up the two hour refund grace period. Edge of space, that one that many report buggy, actually crashes because 90% of items you can make, have no code so game crashes.
