Indie games DO what NintenDON'T! Although it is fair to compare this game to Wario Land, I feel it's its own beast. Every level feels like it's own cartoon episode, complete with title card and game mechanic of the week approach, which is an awesome way to give each level it's own identity. I never once got bored of any level and honestly, every level is so cool that picking a favorite is like choosing which pizza topping I like most.
Wario can go fast sure, but Peppino is fueled by pure rage and the threat of overwhelming debt. I never wanted to slow down to look around, but when I did, there was so much personality and humor everywhere I looked it was insane. Every little thing, from level design to each enemy and boss, was packed with more personality and love than a lot of modern day cartoons have in whole seasons. A review can't do it justice. Just get in there and see everything for yourself. At 20 dollars, you really can't go wrong here, although you might want another 20 to order a real pizza for the full Pizza Tower experience.

Any puzzle game fan will get a kick out of this sweet treat. Or just play it for the lolz (it's funny) and memes (pick a waifu), that works too.
