I tend to enjoy playing games that have customization options as far as character appearance and builds. I like to get attached to the character I'm playing- which means I enjoy playing the game more and will stick with it longer. I enjoy support roles, Healer, Tank... but sometimes I do enjoy playing a DPS role, but in the end I play some sort of Support Main... self sacrifice of the 'fun' to do what is necessary, but to me... that is what's fun. It's a job, and someones gotta do it.
