I thought the Internet would just overreact by labeling this game as the black sheep of the series so i gave it a shot.
It got its bad reputation for a good reason, even when comparing it to just DS1, it made so much stuff wrong and just straight up bad, except some locations and how it looks in some areas, but overall its just an absolutely negative experience for a souls fan, especially for someone who played all the other games.
It feels as if the studio had no idea on how to make a game challenging but fair, they just put a lot of mob enemies in a tight room and called it a day, even a lot of mob bosses where its not a 1 on 1 fight. The bosses are also horrible, except for like 1 or 2, where they have only like 3 moves and thats it, but are incredible tanky and deal a lot of damage just from one hit.
The DLCs are even worse in that regard, too many, too tanky enemies in tight rooms and even tankier bosses.
If you really want to experience this game at least once: DONT BUY THIS ON FULL PRICE. Wait for a sale cuz even then the 10 bucks wont feel worth it for this game.
