For the record, big fan of Vermintide 2. The only reason I continue to play Darktide is because I've put a lot of hours in and I suffer from sunk cost fallacy.

Pros: Great core gameplay, great atmosphere, fun player character dialogue.
Cons: Low map variety, low weapon variety (especially for Ogryn), horrendous loot system, terrible weapon upgrade system, no crafting, unstable servers, constant crashes, atrocious hub layout that shoves paid cosmetics in your face, etc. Too much to list.

Again, do NOT buy. Get a game made by a better company that actually communicates and delivers on promises.

Quite literally the best game I've played in a long time. It's like big Dark Souls except with an actual narrative. For the Souls fans, there's plenty of challenges and build diversity. For newbies, there's a massive open world to explore, but beware of a huge challenge. This is the most difficult Soulsbornekiroring game to date.

Very fast-paced, fun shooter. Only Chapter 1 is available right now, but it's a very enjoyable experience. If you like bhopping around at the speed of sound while slapping aliens into the next dimension, this is a good game for you.
Had a bit of a gameplay change near the end of the first chapter, but it was enjoyable and a good temporary change of pace.
