I hate to do this because playing the initial version of Destiny 2 was one of my favorite experience. The story, world and game play were all rich and engrossing. With the final expansion announced, I figured now would be a good time to catch up on everything I've missed. Now imagine my surprise to find that all that's left of previous campaigns is a series of 15 minute summary missions. It's hard to overstate how disappointing it is, as somebody who was heavily invested in the world of Destiny 2. Imagine watching Breaking Bad up to season 2, falling off and then hearing that the show is wrapping up in season 5 and deciding to get caught up on everything you missed just to discover that the show runners deleted seasons 1 through 4 and replaced them with a 15 minute trailer? Now compound that by the fact that you PAID for seasons 1 and 2. That's how it feels to be a Destiny 2 fan right now.

This game is by no means perfect, but I'm certainly enjoying it!

The ship mechanics are incredible. The developers clearly spent a lot of time thinking that aspect of the game through, and it shows. Getting to design your own ship is a lot of fun and flying around in a giant frigate makes me feel like I'm in Battlestar Galactica or Star trek. If ship design isn't your thing, there's a ton of great designs on the steam workshop.

With that said, once you get your badass ship, there doesn't seem to be much to do. You can fly around, make money and fight skrill, but the missions are honestly pretty boring. They basically boil down to "go to a place and fight some skrill", or "deliver cargo here".

I wish that getting into battles with other players was easier, it seems like a lot of the ship mechanics are based around that, but there just aren't enough people playing the game to make it happen.

I personally enjoy collecting resources and building ships, but if you're looking for something that's more directed, this probably isn't the game for you.

This game is great! Tearing up ships is surprisingly relaxing and a ton of fun. For being in Early Access, I haven't really encountered any bugs. The game did crash twice, but I haven't lost any progress, so nothing serious so far.

This is the game that got me addicted to roguelikes. The combat is tight, fast paced and addictive. Putting together the perfect combo of different elemental spells makes you feel like the Avatar from the last Airbender.

Wizard of Legend is incredibly challenging to beat. While you do unlock different spells and items throughout the game, you can only pick one item and four spells to start off each run with. This makes the game almost entirely skill based. The game gives you enough customization and unlockable items to give you the ability to create interesting and unique builds without having to rely completely on level progression to win. Because of all of this, when you do beat the game, your victory feels like a real skill based accomplishment and not just something that was handed to you by an arbitrary experience system.

This might be my favorite space game of all time. It tickles all the creative and engineering parts of my brain in just the right ways.

This is easily my favorite game of the year. It has an engaging story, difficult puzzles and really tight and challenging combat. The pacing of the story could be a little better. It starts of slow, gets really interesting and then everything sort of gets put on pause until the end. However, other than that small detail, I absolutely loved this game.
