Leans a bit hard into Megaman Zero with its palette and stylistic choices but that's alright. It does have the same general feel of 20XX if a bit sleeker. I do hope they lean more into making the armors (Core Augments) Look the same way as the ultimate armor from Copy X in the Megaman Zero series. As in if 20XX had armors that looked bulky thanks to how megaman X had bulky armors. Then 30XX armors should go a sleeker refined route like how copy X had his. (30XX might be the closest we get to armor systems that aren't the A trance which i'm indifferent about in the ZX series.)

For the developers. I strongly very much so recommend you make a standard set piece level per each boss level. Yes like the classic series you are basing your series on. What I mean is custom building a level from beginning to end with story beats while having the randomized level generator saved for endless and or money (nuts) making ventures. This could very well cement Ace and Nina here a bit further personality wise and as well as the world they inhabit. But for game play purposes it would give your levels a bit more of a crafted world feel. I like Issac as much as the next guy and rouge lites (or whatever they are called now.) besides but what you gain in levels no one has played like you........you kinda lose in that general personal feel. There is totally hints of this in some stages where you're gated and need to escape, in fact every level does have a crafted feel in some parts.

I digress its fun to play and has enough to hold your attention for a while. Obviously its still in development so take that for what you will.
