You know, I don't really review games much. I like what I like and so forth. But buyer beware for now.

Arrow head has made a good game... most fun I've had in ages in a FPS and I was very excited for the future of this game. Love or hate them, the balance changes where meaningless in the long run... it was the fact that bug fixes are not going great, and they are trying to stick to a planned schedule that appears to conflict with their ability to bug fix. Forgivable for the most part, but frustrating to the average player with the amount of crashes and disconnect's.

the warbonds are mostly asset flips right now and bare bones cosmetics, and weapons that are either unimpressive or quickly altered after they are in the wild(typically nerfs), not a huge problem since you can buy them for free if you find enough super credits in game just playing. Honestly, it's not pay to win, but it does increase your diversity on gear. I just doubt they can keep a monthly pace on this as most of the armor is just recolors with the same perks over and over.

the real issue comes from Sony forcing registration for PSN. The most notoriously bad at protecting data company. Their stance had always been lawyer speak on the requirements for any PC port, but it's obvious this recent change to required is just to drive up numbers for their investors due to quarterly reports and "number go up". I'll certainly change my review if Sony rescinds this change, but the damage is done. Sony's greed has spoken already.


Edit: As Sony as relented, I will change my review to positive as the PSN requirement has been removed. I still stand by what I said in the original review. This game is good, and it's great with friends.

Edit 2: It seems Sony has decided that they are going to still ban all non PSN network area's even that they relented. So yeah, negative review again for transparency.

solid battletech fun. game can be a tad brutal, but always fun to see how things develop on multiple play throughs.

Everything was fun till I completed the game. Even the rather annoying "nope your being railroaded into doing what we tell you now" interruptions were workable, but stupidly annoying. Thend the ending. I know the game is topical and all that, but the choice is pretty **** either way. I don't know if I'm going to motivate myself to finish up some left over stuff in game.

Gameplay, shooting, side missions, heck even the flying was spot on! I liked the planes and how they felt, though the AI is pretty derpy with them and even the helicopters (also your AI partner has a weird desire to jack your ride if combat starts if your on the ground. Sound was spot on with the animals and their AI was pretty good.

But yet again... there was a serious downgrade on the story when compaired to far cry 4... which while I still had some problems with the rebel leaders (I wanted to kill both and decalre myself king cause of their stupidity, but Pagen Min made everything awesome in the end.)

So yeah. if you really want to play this buy it on sale. full retail felt like a waste.
