Amazing game!

I bought the game before it was launched (my mistake) and this has got to be one of the most grind intensive games I've ever played. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun when you first start out, there is a lot to learn and see.

However, the game quickly grinds down after the first several hours of play. The islands are so small it's not even funny, the terraforming tools are crap to say the least and any dinosaur can break out of the best fenses in the game in short order.

The dinos look and sound amazing, they really do. However, they also leave a lot to be desired. For example, pack animals such as the raptros do not even function as a pack. Yes they have a social bar that you need to worry about at times but that's about it. They don't act like ambush preditors or pack preditors at all.

The buildings in the game are nice but people will just phase through doors, you tend to have more of the different departments running around then actual park visitors a lot of the time too.

There is so much more that I could write about but I wont keep repeating what others have said about the game.
I can't honestly say that this game is worth so much money right now. If you are going to buy this, I'd suggest waiting for it to go on sale and not a moment before that. It's just not worth the near $60.00 USD that they want for this.

My favorite map to be honest. I love the way it looks, how the layout is and how the different places are layed out. I still find really interesting and new places I didn't know about when I go exploring.

I can only speak for the unofficial servers that I play on because after two days (a long time ago) on the official servers I didn't like it, way to time consuming. If you buy this play on the unofficial servers, it's more fun and generally a better community to work and play with. You also don't lose a month's work in 5 minutes like the official servers.

Yes there are still bugs in the game, every game has them though I do wish they would fix them. However, even with that said they aren't game breaking in my opinion. So as I said, stick with the unofficial servers and you'll be good, far more enjoyable with all the mods that can be used there. You can even get the flyer nurf undone if that bothers you. I was honestly rather happy to see them nurfed as it makes people use other methods to fight now.

Overall, I recommend this game, I've made some good friends from it.

This is just nothing more than a dumbed down, knock off, simplified version of the real Warhammer Dawn of War series. It has some interesting concepts in it and they finally got smart enough to attempt to bring base building back but there is no base defenses, no strategic play with units or positioning or anything. It's a MOBA style of the real game.

The campaign in a linier play line, no exploration of the map no nothing, just squad A move forward kill enemy at position go around the corner and repeat until mission is done.

Unit Customization: What unit customization? The most you can do is change how maybe a few units look, other then that all the different paint options do is maybe change a piece of armor or cloth color and the rest remains what the Devs wanted it to be. Nothing like the old games where you could actually change what your troops look like.

Skirmish/Multiplayer: They have reduced the game from 8 player multiplayer maps where you could go anywhere and do just about anything you want down to 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 and that's it. They turned it from battles able to be fought anywhere to fighting in lanes with a tower defense style combat in mind just like in League of Legends and DOTA.

Units/Races: They've reduced the number of units and races compared to the old games of the series. You're confined down to the Eldar, Orks, and the Space Marines. Compared to the old games where you had 8 different factions to choose from with their own style of combat and specialties to choose from and work with. They copied and pasted the unit population from the Company of Heroes series or that's how it seems at least.

Base Building: you get a hand full of buildings to build with no concept of base defense at all. The Eldar can't even stealth their buildings anymore like they could in the older games. You're confined to one HQ and that's it, lose it and it's game over.

I liked the game until it got to the point that I had to spend more time dealing with loading and unloading cargoships that I couldn't do much else in the game or my civilization would get pissed. If they made it where the ships did all that crap on their own then I'd like the game a lot more then I do.

Awesome game and is still even to this day one of the best on the market. When this game first came out on the market and I got it I must have spent hundreds of hours playing this it was so enjoyable and still is. Re-installing it now just so I can enjoy it again.

This game is fun to play around in as you can see by my amount of hours I have logged so far. At the moment the player just has to worry about building, gathering resources, and surviving the environment. However, in the future there will be hostile mobs added to the mix along with some other interesting little things that will serve to challenge the player(s) and their survival.

The Devs are pretty active in the forums with the communitite and answer our questions for the most part. They also will use ideas and thoughts we have for the game if they like them and will add them to the mainstream game if it is feasable to do so.

The only down side to the game for me honestly is the lack of things to fight while playing and no defenses that work at the moment. Thought I know that will change when they get to adding these features.

Overall good game with a lot more to be added as it develops.

I love this game. It is always different and you can meet a lot of good people to enjoy the game with. Add in all the mods and addons you can get for every aspect of this game and it just adds to the experience of it all. One of my all time favorites that I never get bored with!
