After playing more than 650 hours and investing more than 1000 € into in-game items, I have to reconsider my previous review and say, that I do not recommend this game!!! After the free-to-play update, the game has become a complete nightmare for a honest player. The matchmaking servers are flooded with cheaters, toxic people and idiots (so called smurfs) who just love to ruin the game to everybody else (verbal insulting of teammates, intentional provocation, shooting to co-players, etc.). The anti-cheat protection (VAC) simply does not work, the cheaters remain unpunished in most cases. A normal company would be concerned with such a decay of the game and would try to actively fix all the reported problems, but not the Valve. These guys rather introduce a new Prisma case (or another b******t) using of which they will lure money from active players. You know, it would not bother me that Valve is milking money this way from passionate players, if it showed in the game quality. Unfortunately, as you may know, this is not the case. With each new update, the game loses the original essence which used to make it a good game and instead of that it becomes a rotten swamp of toxic people and scammers who are trying to steal your stuff. I could keep complaining about this game much longer, but it would not change anything anyway. I just wanted to warn potential new players to consider everything mentioned above before installing the game, because the game is no longer about skills but about money.
