game is kinda grindy and janky. Still the core game play is good and i would buy it again knowing how the game is.

They have released multiple update since launch. A few QoL changes. Developers seem to actually want there game to be good.

This is the shining example of how to take a difficult, fun, and all around good game. And how to turn it into a unfun, disheartening, and frustrating mess.

Priorities are backwards. Instead of fixing game breaking issues, having a way to report griefers/cheaters well, and adding content. They are more worried about nerfing the only viable options for endgame play. Increasing the difficulty and adding RNG ways for the environment to kill us...Do they play there own game??? dying can be a huge setback, enough to take a good run and turn it into a frustrating crawl out of the hole. To have that happen because of a meteor shower that happens 4-6 times in a mission or fire tornadoes, is so infuriating. OR to lose a mission because of one of these RNG events is pointless.

However i loved this game in the beginning and if they reverse on this negative and damaging path. i could once again recommend this game.

The kernel level anti cheat that requires special steps to uninstall was a huge red flag and enough reason to stay away from this game.

Amazing game. No other PVE games like it. After thousands of hours, 1k+ on steam and more on PS4. i love this game. I am so thankful to wildcard for this amazing game. Now that im getting older i have less time and desire for PVP game like this that require 24/7 dedication to be competitive. Abberation was the best DLC 10/10. The dino reskin with bioluminescence was perfect and beautiful. The new great travel items made it so not having fliers was ok and even good in many ways. Climbing pick, Zip-lines, Wingsuit and creatures that can use Zip-lines made it fun without flyers. the verticallity of the map was so good. By the time you got a rock drake you have seen 90% of the map. My on complaints / negative feedback is about two things. 1 Fix bugs faster and Ban glitchers and exploiters. They ruin any type of PVP. 2 is balancing. Stop ruining PVE because of PVP balancing and stop ruining PVP because of PVE. Surely you can find a way to keep PVE fun, exciting and not nerfing creatures into oblivion. Ark pve is all about taming creatures. the tames are what made ark what it is. When you look at SOTF, Ark park and other spin offs. taking a tiny bit of that time and energy surely you could come up with a system to keep pve and pvp seperate. there are already thing you can do in pve / singleplayer that are disabled in PVP / multiplayer. till i love ark. i am so thankful that wildcard gave me an amazing game i can dedicate hours of play time to.
