Puzzle Pirates has always been a resilient gem from gaming's past, but having seen it through its beginning and peak, I haven't touched it in years. Finding Dark Seas a few days ago, I've already rekindled my love for pirating and voyaging out into the depths to see what mysterious creatures I can best and claim treasure from.

Sure, it's not a modern game in many regards, but if you can look past that when it comes to most puzzle games, it shouldn't even be a consideration here. It's a game that never truly feels old, just memorable.

I used to play a lot, as well. I thought most of the puzznes were entertaining. Don't know if I'm ready to get dragged back in only to have the publishers make radical business model changes again.

Is it better or worse than what it was before? I used to play all the time when it came out and by the time they took it killed it, the community was dead.
