Early Access Review
I Like this game so far. Jank but loveable jank.

Positives-
An amazing concept and graphics.
Indie?
Early Access so it can still improve

Negatives-
Hitboxes are jank as hell sometimes
They separated solo players from parties i guess. So everytime you go exploring its solo no match making into random parties
Needs more players
The insurance system needs to be fleshed out more. There are various ways to go about this and the devs need to speak with the community.
Base inventory is so small that you gotta make separate trips to complete gathering quests
No way to track gathering items needed on island and since its a generated instance you finding what you need is kind of random.

Will update as the game progresses

*Update*

So Expedition Agartha had its "1.0" update recently and locked its entire game besides the starter map behind a paywall compared to what was marketed initially as a free to play game...

$24.99 for the other maps and a pay to win head start over your competitors... including more inventory space, cosmetics, free weapons and baggage space.

The 2nd biggest travesty is the fact they want $2.99 for glowing light blue.... and i don't know if its just a cosmetic or an actual damage modifying item...

coming back to grand chase in 2022 is a nostalgia trip. I guess KOG did some fixes cause it wasn't laggy for me except for once in PVE. They reduced some of the grind of the original iteration of GC, because i managed to get to level 30 in 4 hours and do my second job quest all in one sitting. I faintly remember playing for at least a few days to a week to achieve that before.

I did notice they removed 2nd job skill trees? At least for Ronan that is. Fire enchant is OP easily hit 700-1,000+ combos with fire dmg stun lock and constant dps with large groups. I'd say you play it. You can ignore most of the cash shop stuff maybe until end game content and thats when it gets super grindy. Like unlocking the boss crests. (the easiest one is like 7 champion dungeon runs thats an enternity)

All in all good reboot. I heard that launch in 2021 was horrible though

Edit: made it to xenia continent. They changed the order of continents to introduce characters in order. End game is definitely very grindy. Jobs are unbalanced. Ronan's first, second, and fourth job are viable options but third job is useless. The removed the skill tree changes for new jobs and just have shared skill tree options between jobs. When i say Ronan's first job is a stationary boss slayer I mean it. Erudon's sword and 3rd skill and boom you can deplete 2-3 health bars from any boss and that's with low mid tier stats.

Everything is easier and less grindy in the beginning stages but extremely grindy near the end. They made it so that you can solo every vanilla dungeon but either need a team or p2win for end game challenge content.
I can tolerate it from GC because the only way they have to increase difficulty is raising enemy stats.

However they need to bring back difficulty stars. Now there is only normal and champion mode and champion mode is at best 3 star difficulty.

Humankind is a solid game. Call it Civilization abridged due to the shorter game time. The singleplayer mode seems kind of boring honestly after the metropolis difficulty( Normal) the AI simply cheats. The learning curve is steep if you never played a 4x game. Conquest is limited due to city control caps, which i believe needs to be larger: Warfare is usually only between one weaker party and an extremely strong party. Haven't played multiplayer yet but this 4x game seems to be meant for a competitive multi rather than the bland singleplayer. Will update after try some multiplayer game

I'd give it a 7/10 for the single player content . Its a good game with some replay value in single player but without more world customization options (resource amount selectors , game issued custom maps etc) it becomes redundant.

Early Access Review
This game is the epic sequel to Mount and Blade Warband and is such a wonderful game to play. My only issue is minor bugs (its early access so this is inevitable) and the fact that there isn't a co-op campaign feature yet. Co-op campaign would complete this game. Please TaleWorlds indulge me, this game will last DECADES with co-op campaign

This is a fun if a bit confusing 4x strategy game. Mostly plays like a civilization but has some minor total war elements. Its very basic but i enjoy playing it. Needs more content and possibly a sequel with a better engine

I'd say this is the best Total War game to date yet! For a more historical title im not into the fantasy option they give you but records mode handles that.

Important Positive Changes:
Diplomacy system is amazing! CA outdid themselves this time. For once the AI diplomacy algorithm is fined tuned instead of just rejecting my trade agreement "Just cause"

Battle AI is semi-competent. Knows to hold a battle line and flank properly. Understands how to use unit abilities properly.

Choice between Romance version and Records. With Romance being a more Warhammer experience, but Records being a Tradition TW experience.

Reform tech tree system a refreshing change. You get a new Tech (Reform) every 5 turns

General Units have 5 different types meant for different roles. Commander, Vanguard, Strategist, Champion, and Sentinel. Each role is specific some more combat oriented than others. Each role has a main stat, the five stats are Expertise, Resolve, Cunning, Instinct, and Authority. Every General has all 5 stats but usually specializing in two stats. Each Stat gives bonuses to your general's combat abilities as well as army buffs.

Every unit has a role! Some units are anti armor, some Cavalry are specifically anti cav units thus don't place a importance on unit tier so much as utility

Important Negative Changes:

Battle AI's Siege attacking is horrible. besides rudimentary flanking maneuvers AI throws its units into the meat grinder. Other than loose formation and wedge formation the AI doesn't use infantry formations

Army Formations and Flaming arrows should've been a tech(Reform) not something based off a General's cunning stat

Playing Romance version slightly more difficult and confusing as i cannot judge how handily i will beat someone in a duel even though it says their strength compared to mine is Negligible (Seriously how did they beat me if their strength is negligible to mine?)

Score: 8/10
Great game, my favorite so far. beside some weird design decisions and slight AI incompentencies this is must have in the TW series

Everything about this game is amazing. The single player difficulty levels are well tuned. The AI is calculating, though diplomacy can be annoying it doesn't take away from the experience. I mostly play the Sengoku Jidai and Fall of the Samurai campaigns as Rise of the Samurai is very basic and bare. The multiplayer (when it was populated) was amazing. All in all this is a game that will go down in the history books

Tiger Knight: Empire War

Pros

Well Made- TKEW is a well made game that i recommend to friends and everyone to play. Cant go wrong with this game its is fun

Promising- The community continues to get bigger and isn't a hateful bunch. Devs listen to players and make updates on a regular.

Not Pay-to-Win- So far cash shop items only provide minor boosts (vip, soldier seal, etc) or cosmetic features. Can use real money to exchange exp to prestige but that method still requires grinding no matter how less of it.

Going to be more criticism than praise because I want these Cons to change.

Cons

Matchmaking System- The matchmaking system is out of date. Matchmaking takes forever if no one is playing in your unit tier and you can only play AI using tier 1-4 units. The new Event game modes (Command mode conquest/ Squad Deathmatch) are broken due to the matchmaking system. I wait several hours for the event to start just to sit in queue. I still have never played these new game modes

Command Mode Siege Probability- Siege mode is rarer than pheonix feathers and qilin horns. You play command mode for several hours only to get maybe one game of Command Mode Siege. I have ingame missions i cannont complete because i simply wont spend 5-6+ hours straight playing command mode to finally get a command mode siege match its ridiculous.

Custom Games Give No Rewards- So say i wanna organize a game of command mode 5v5 with my friends. You can play the match but no rewards are given. Only way to play with friends is to make a team of 5 and hope you end up playing other friends.

No Lobby System- This game suffers from not having a lobby system. A lobby would streamline the finding a game process by getting rid of excess wait time via player input. Also each game mode can have their own separate lobby then you'll be solving the command mode siege issue.

Epic War- Epic War is your main PVE game mode and your easiest method of getting troop exp. This game mode is one of the few that don't suffer from the matchmaking system. Since its PVE if you cant find a group to match with you can solo until others join. Unfortunately others dont always join. Heres my list of issues with epic war.

1. Full-Content- In Epic War the amount of content you get to play is based on difficulty. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? If I play easy that means i play the first section of the Epic War story and thats it. When i play normal i get the finished content (first+second section). The issue with this is that by doing this it makes it pointless to play easy difficulty. In normal difficulty i can say there is enough kills to split between 5 people so that everyone can get a decent amount of exp. Easy difficulty only has HALF a map basically and makes it pointless to even play at this difficulty.

2. Cannot replenish troops- In Epic War AI units respawn and yours don't. This is a serious issue it makes soloing RIDICULOUS. Before the final boss fight you have a section where you have to kill 220 men before they kill your AI general. This is impossible to solo and not being able to replenish my troops to full means i watched my AI general get mobbed over and over and over while i press continue over and over and over rushing to get the last however many kills because im outnumbered 220+ to 1.

3. Joining mid-game isn't worth it- If I join a epic war game mid-game I start with no troops. Yup in the game mode where you can't replenish troops you start the game without your unit...

4. NERF Lv Bu !!!!!- Lv Bu(Supposed to be Lu Bu I suppose) is the most OP thing in this game. I understand as a boss character he is supposed to be difficult, but the guy shouldnt be impossible to solo. When combatting Lv Bu he has many high dmg combo moves and can effectively stun lock you to death. Normally you'll be fighting Lv Bu with up to 5 people which would explain the many AOE melee attacks he has in his arsenal. Fighting Lv Bu is basically a miracle healing guzzler. His high dmg plus AOE attacks will murder your team. His attacks are effectively UNBLOCKABLE because blocking his attacks are worse than getting hit. This is the stun lock I want to mention. A number of different attacks Lv Bu has can be blocked yes, but what this results in is a bunch of different knock downs and delays( because you blocked his attack) that simply lets Lv Bu attack you more often. Its to the point when playing if you draw aggro just hope he doesn't kill you fast so you dont end up wasting all that mircale healing in one run.

Adjuntants- The Adjuntant system is still very obscure and I don't see the benefits that come from it. Loyalty values are supposed to increase either adjuntant and or unit stats? (No clear explanation found/Effects of loyalty not noticeable) Adjuntants need to be catergorized by the unit type they could best command (i.e. He Qi is an melee infantry adjuntant with Square formation and Wedge Formation for melee infantry all adjuntants like him should fall under one catergory.)
