Glyph-Bound Kotodama should not be on steam yet. There is some polish to it, but it feels more like an alpha than a beta. The only content available is 1v1 PvP matches. Unfortunately that requires other people to be online to play. I love the idea of the game, but without any accessible content, and the only tutorial being a menu tutorial that points me to the 2 working menu options, a teambuilder with 80% of the Kami's locked behind a $10 paywall, and a lobby search/lobby hosting system. I would love to come back to this game later to see if there was content I can access but for now, this review remains negative. Im currently sitting in a lobby - there isnt even a lobby chat option, or a method to see if someone starts a lobby while im waiting. Only thing I can do while I wait is make different teams out of the 10 kami's I have access to and dont understand what they do.

This game is a dark lord themed colony builder / rts where you will build and develop your base / dark army before setting out to conquer the surface of the campaign mission you are doing. If you like RTS games / Colony Builders/ Dark Lords/ Kalypso Media's wit (also known for the tropico series) you will like this game.

Kaion Tale is a unique take on the mmorpg genre with its 2-D art with a heavy focus on PvP. At first, its a very charming game, however as you progress the game gets exponentially grindier. It starts off simple enough, you spawn in your faction town, based on which class you chose, and head off to kill some weak mobs. That is, if you can figure out the controls. There is little to no explanation to the majority of the game, and it led me wandering cluelessly how to figure out how the proffession system worked. After getting past that however, it was enjoyable to play, until I reached level 20. At that point, I unlocked a new area, Mobs were much tankier, and I barely did any damage to them on my own despite investing completely into damage. High level characters from the oppossing faction were also running around here, killing weak players new to the area. This forced the majority of the players interested in progressing to group up next to one of the boss spawns were you stayed for hours, slowly collecting loot and experience while staying safe from PvPer's. After reaching level 30 after several hours, I decided to check out the next area. The mobs were once again even tankier, and there were far less players to work together with. The only way to really progress is to play a character with an AoE attack, and farm multiple enemies at once. Playing by yourself or even with a small group is nearly impossible, and the combat pretty much is simplified to pressing another button for a more powerful attack and another to tank damage. Whats more is the majority of the chat is filled with Spanish, with that being the only active server.
Tl:dr started out fun, got extremely grindy and combat is basically the exact same at level 32 as at level 5. Enemies to tanky to kill within a reasonable amount of time without a group and drop rates really low. Also everyone is brazilian or spanish or something.

It has more freedom in Skyrim - the freedom to make your own story. In skyrim, nearly every battle you fight victory is guaranteed, and when you do die, there is no punishment, simply loading an old save, or perhaps deleting it and starting over. In Kenshi, characters can die, and you will lose them. In Kenshi, you can be beaten up by a pack of hungry bandits. In Kenshi, you can be a band of smugglers daring to travel the swamps in order to smuggle drugs to the rest of the world only to find that no one will buy it from you. In Kenshi, you need to decide whether to sacrifice one of your members for the good of the crew or to take a giant risk in order to make it out alive. In Kenshi you can buy a dog. Also base building. 10/10 would recommend.

This game is about moving up in the medieval world. You start off as a country bumpkin and slowly level up through the ranks. It is a mmo. I like the type of game and how easy it is to play. I dislike the time it takes to advance forcing you to spend hours on it. I would reccommend it to people who like slow games and have lots of spare time.
