Base World is great.
Iceborne, not so much.
Damage sponge monsters with super high mobility. Tons of RNG grind.
Not very fun for me.

A lovely farming sim with a prehistoric twist.
Your tribe, guided by the sacred spirits of Pacha arrive to a new place to call home. There the whole tribe work together to prosper. You can help the people to discover new things, like planting, taming animals (Wich has a pretty neat variety, like goats, mamuts, wolves, boars, ostritchs, and many more), new buildings, recipes, workstations.
And of course, you can befriend them and even find love. (Same-sex couples allowed).

Is a very cozy and lovely game. The music is cute. And the graphics are very lively and pleasant.
If you want to relax and enjoy a cozy time, Roots of Pacha is your game!

Amazing Vampire Survivor-like with tons of characters to unlock, severals stages, TONS of unlockables, a house mode where you can just chill, fish, farm and decorate your house (and earn coins for unlocking things for the main mode) and FREE.
What is to not like?

And of course, if you like Hololive this is just paradise.

SEGA, could you stop raising the regional price for five minutes? Please?

And the DLC are overpriced, en for the people in the first world.

Besides that, while Immortal Empires is great, some Rosters, like Cathay and Kislev feels pretty incomplete, probably waiting for future DLC. And the siegues, still don't feel right. And the bugs, of course.

SEGA and CA, what happened? You used to be chevere.

Tried the game because of the Hololive Collab.
A single skin 45 dollars.
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is random, you need a character that you will probably not have to use it, and you still need to win the RNG to get it.
Horrendous.
Of course after this I have not hopes for this game to be worth it.

I just can't have fun with it. The dribbling is frustrating, the shoot until you deplete the goalie bar is frustrating.
The cutscenes are nice and all. But is just not fun to play.

Defeating enemies in battle doesn't matter at all.
They're back at full fighting force in a second. You can defeat all a country army a second, and then lay siege to a settlement, and they're all back before you can launch the attack.
And if you take it, then you must defend against a never ending wave of enemies.

The're a lot of potential in the game, but need much work. Hopefuly the devs will give it lots of love.

Out protagonist wanders into a ruinous town. She can't afford anything, so she keeps walking into the arid wilderness.
After a few hills, she finds a little bar in the middle of nowhere. Still no money. So, she keeps walking.

Oh, a node of copper. How nice. Already savoring the cash that selling the copper will bring our protagonist starts to mine it slowly with her pickaxe.
Sadly, while she's absorbed in her labor, a band of bandits finds her. After a quick fight, she's left unconscious.
After she wakes up, she goes back slowly limping to the copper.
Sadly, after a while the band of bandit is back and again she's left unconscious and bleeding in the sand.

Thankfully she manages to wake up. And crawl, both legs broken, praying for no more bandits, until she manages to reach the little bar. Selling what little copper she managed to get, can afford some bandages and stop the bleeding, saving her life.
Time to limp back to the adventure!

Time later, with a band of friends, she manages to defeat bands of bandits, run away from packs of monsters, have epic battles with monstrous beak things in a city (which is absolutely her fault, because she refuged into the town when being pursued).

What the future will bring? Maybe creating her own town? Probably.

This is Kenshi. A mix of RPG, squad RTS, town builder. You're a nobody. And while you will get better, you will never be superhuman. But you can get friends. And together rise and become a new power in this post-apocalyptic world.

I'm just loving the game. Can't believe that's free.

The art is gorgeous. The characters not only are really nice and pretty, but incredibly expressive! I love all their different expressions. Amazing!
The music is nice and cute.
And the writting is lovely. The story flows very well, it's interesting and funny and cute. The choices matters, there are plenty of endings to get. And the central theme, as Pokemon Go player, is extra funny.

Finally, the romance is super cute. Finished two routes so far (Rayen losing in the doubles tournament, and Honorée, winning the doubles) and was wonderful. In particular I adore Honorée and her route. She's a girl of culture!

If you have at least the slighty interest in lesbian gamer girls romancing each other, pick this up right now! It's even free!

Have you played Wayward Prophet previous game, World's Dawn?

If you already did, you can skip this paragraph.
World's Dawn was a little Harvest Moon-esque game where you played as the new owner of a farm, in a little secluded rural town. Pretty standard stuff, right? While the game pales in comparison of the farming and building aspect of Stardew Valley, the game truly shines in it heart.
The little village of Sugar Blossom not only is beautiful, with lots of lovely places to visit, but feels alive. All the villager are wonderfully done, each one with their own stories to tell. Lots of different dialog depending of the time and what's happening. And lovely portraits to accompany them.
The game has lots of hearts. And it's feels like truly living in the lovely and cozy Sugar Blossom village.

And now, after the lovely and cozy World's Dawn, Wayward Prophet bring us A Story Beside.

This new game takes the best of World's Dawn, the lovely and well developed characters, the nice portraits, the lovely scenery and the cozy feeling of living in a secluded rural town, full of life.
But not only take these elements, but improve on them. The scenery is just breath-taking, a truly pleasure to watch. The portraits are lovely. The characters are very well written. And the whole town feels alive. Finally the story, following our protagonist, Lyric, it's much more focused and personal than in World's Dawn. It's a very personal and emotional experience.

You play as Lyric, the second daughter of the couple running the local inn of a secluded mountain village. You start at her childhood, playing with her friends, making little decisions along the way, knowing the people and watching your story unfold.
The second chapter gives a time skip and shows the aftermath of everything that happened in the first chapter.
It does a wonderful job making you feel attached to the little towns, their residents and our protagonist, Lyric and how she deals with everything that happens to her and the town.

Yes, this isn't an RPG. Isn't about an hero fighting evil to save the world. No. It's about just one person, living her life the best she can in one of those worlds. The NPC who see the bands of hero pass in their way to vanquish evil. The ones who see them return victorious, or not return at all.
But not for the lack of combat and heroics quests this story is boring. Not at all. It's just different. More personal. More relatable even.

Having playing the two first chapters, I can just say that I'm incredibly eager to play the next ones. To see how the life of Lyric and her people continues. And to be able to cry and laugh with her.

This is a wonderful story, very personal and emotional, in a wonderful and beautiful package.

If you're a bit tired of being the invincible hero, and for once want to try something different just hop in. And live with Lyric the simple but not uneventful life of a villager, not the chosen one who slays the monster, but the ones living and struggling with their lives in the background.

It will be a great trip. Trust me.
Myself, can't wait for the next chapters and see how Lyric life progress.
