Years ago, they stated they wanted to reduce the grind, but have done the exact opposite at every turn. Even the changes intended to reduce grind simply shift it to a new area.

The open world segments feel poorly thought out, Deimos being the most glaring example. Few things are explained well or at all, leaving players to guess whether something is a feature or a bug.

On the topic of bugs, Deimos has been out for nearly a year, yet still suffers from multiple bugs that were present at launch. This is a recurring theme with Digital Extremes. Release the minimum viable product, make it vaguely playable, and move on to the next big update.
