It's a masterpiece for the show time attacks alone.

Probably the best "souls" game. If you like the FromSoft formula, you'll love this. If you're new, the game is a lot more approachable than From's older titles.

Excellent port of a great game. Lacking a little in enemy variety which is a bit disappointing given how fun the combat system is. But the story and journey more than make up for it.

This game has all the charm of a great Saturday morning cartoon with the visual fidelity of a high budget animated film. It's consistently funny and well written from the word go, and is genuinely heartwarming at times. Raz also feels great to control, with satisfying combat and platforming. Enemy variety could use a little boost, but I can forgive it with the amount of creativity stuffed in every corner.

This game really has everything. It feels simultaneously nostalgic and new. I'm only sad that it's over.

This is the first Tales game I've played since Symphonia and it was fairly enjoyable.

The performance is solid and there's some pretty good art direction here. Sometimes it doesn't quite come together and feels very Unreal Engine, but it mostly does a great job mimicking the anime art styles that inspired it.

The story and characters are...fine, relying a bit too much on tropes and cliche. But I can't deny that the writing is genuinely funny at time. The music is generally great; I just wish there was a little more of it (apparently Bandai considers music an "optional" DLC). The best part so far has been the combat which does a lot to innovate from previous titles. However, I'm more than a little disappointed that co-op has been stripped from the game.

I think people who like JRPGs will find some fun here. If you don't like them, this won't change your mind.

A solid Metroidvania with a well paced and surprisingly well acted Star Wars story.

If killing robot dinosaurs with viking era weaponry in the gorgeous Utah plains sounds like a good time to you, then boy do I have some good news.

I can only speak from personal experience, but I have not experienced the frame rate drops and slow downs that have been repeatedly criticized. From a gameplay perspective, Iceborne has improved the base game of MHW in almost every way. Multiplayer is more seamless, the central hub is more organized, combat with each weapon is more variable, and the new and returning monsters added are a ton of fun to hunt. The story is still mediocre and I still dislike how you have to watch cutscenes separately before your friends can join hunts, but the heart and soul of the game is a pure blast.

FromSoftware has continued to refine their tried and true formula. Sekiro is, in my opinion, the best feeling soulsborne game to play. It's also the best looking. While it doesn't reach the same creative highs as the original Dark Souls, Sekiro stands tall on its own as a fantastic game that is well worth the purchase.
