it took me 11 hours to complete and now i am playing it again with a friend(who is enjoying it enough she might just buy it too) and i find myself just as enamoured with the art and the artistry as i was the first time<3

it is janky and messy and clips like a pair of over-sharp shears but hot damn, this game is just so much fun to basebuild in~

no longer a sandbox game. the areas and resources are locked exclusively behind battling now

sandbox mode is incredibly soothing. it is nice just to let it run in the background

couldn't figure out how to interact since i was not on xbox and did not have an xbox controller(no option for mouse and keyboard configs). pressed the "o" key about 20 seconds in and a cutscene where i was partially submerged in a rock played then the credits rolled and booted me from the game.

this game was worth the asking price, easily! it is beautiful, the music is better than it has any right to be and even the story was quirky and memorable. i really recommend this game for most people(though i do also recommend a walk-through if, like me, you got stuck fish puzzle)
