This game is just awesome.
Story is incredible for a rogue like. Voices are amazing.
You have 6 weapons that feel different, with sub archetype to tweak things.

Blessing will make each run feel different.

Easily worth 60hours of gameplay. Go for it

This game is just insane. Best hack and slash. End of story.

You take what was amazing in titan quest (good lore, amazing double class, strong and fast paced combat), you add some gloomy art and incredible follow up from developpers and you have grim dawn.
All the classes (+gear) offers various options, and you can make almost any class combo work.
this game is fairly priced (not like any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 70€ + 30€ season pass AAA).

You liked Titan quest, you hate the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rune system of D3 without any personalization ? RUN FOR GRIMDAWN.

Also, there is the amazing constellation system : you can take a combination of passive that really twist all your builds.

Did i mention constant balance from developpers ?

This game is GOLD

To resume Darkest Dungeon in 3 words, i would say : "Hard but not Hardcore"
(Disclaimer, the word counter might not work properlly)

Before jumping to the pros and cons, there 2 things to know about this game:

-You are the hamlet (the village) and NOT THE HEROES. Heroes might and will die. A lot (1 death every 5 fight)
-As any turn-based combat, it is reliant on RNG > Sometimes a few crits, miss or an heavy focus from the IA can ruin an exepedition.

When you have undertsood those 2 points, you can fully appreciate the game and tell yourself "♥♥♥♥ happens, it's about maximizing the overall probability =)"

Pros
-Many original (and good) ideas : stress, torch level, heart attacks, curios, bosses
-Great graphics
-Good soundtrack
-Easy to step into and intuitive gameplay
-Tons of classes (+at least 10 awesome class mods !)
-The game is hard > when you reach max level on heroes (6) you do NOT steamroll the entire game

Cons
-Quite fustrating to lose a party on a triple crit or a crucial miss > it's part of the game
-Farm required
-Some interface tweaks could be done > impossible to see the turn order, nor the ennemy's attack description

Nice indie game :)
