New Favorite Game!

*edit update* - Most Definitely

I stopped playing Destiny 2 back around 2018.

My wife got me back into Destiny 2 and its improved. Im still playing the free version of the game but Im considering picking up an expansion or two. I spent around 28 hours since Iv come back and it was nice to start with a 1350 light level with some exotics. Took around 20 hours to hit the soft cap at 1530, lots of new content for free, its been hard to do much of anything else in my life...

Destiny 2 has improved a lot since I used to play, including the fact that its now free to play & cross platform, I do think that they should lump all the expansions into the purchase of the newest expansion, similar to how Blizzard now does for World of Warcraft, I think they would have better sales IMPO. Waiting on a sale or until I run out of things to do before I actually buy an expansion but defiantly worth playing.

Really Like Halo Infinite, Im having a great time exploring. Hope they do some kind of mission / exploration system with multiplayer characters. I liked how Halo Reach, you could play your multiplayer character in the campaign too. I hope they add something like this, the world is so cool Id like to do missions/explore with friends. Looking forward to the future of what Halo Infinite could be, I already really like what they have done so far.

I really enjoyed and am still enjoying Halo Infinite, This is just some of my nitpicks I have with the game and things I hope they add or change.

:::Campaign:::

Halo Infinite Campaign is more like a glorified intro than an actual campaign. The open world is fun to explore, I hope they add more locations in the future along with the rest of the story. defiantly felt short, story wise but expecting more to be added in the future.

I really enjoyed the game, finished on legendary but ended up being disappointed. My disappointment was not with the game but with the lack of no reward aside from an achievement for completing the game on Legendary.

Would have preferred the multiplayer cosmetic items to be random spawn locations over static, mainly because the cool factor in having the items is gone when anyone can get online and find the location of the items. This also adds into the frustration of why they don't give multiplayer cosmetic rewards for completing the campaign.

::::Multiplayer::::

I like Halo Infinite Multiplayer for what it is now but I have a lot of hopes and dreams of what more Halo Infinite can do for us.

Mainly, I hope that you will be able to play co-op with your multiplayer character and have some sort of missions system in multiplayer and a firefight. Multiplayer customization definitely needs more cosmetic options.

The item rarity for Halo Infinite customization doesn't make since to me, something that is Common and something that is Legendary, Epic or Rare seem like artificial rarity. The difficulty to get the items doesn't feel accurate. The Epic items aren't any more difficult to get than Common and the items sold on the store having rarity that is made up, still to early to say but Id guess that the Legendary Items in the store will appear less often in the store than a Rare item will. Challenges, the item received during the week for finishing the weekly and then ultimate challenge, I really hope they don't plan on making the items appear very often, Right now they are probably the items with the most value, to me.

For the AI you change the color for, they have three green skins for the AI that are slightly different than the other yet the rarity of the items is different....? They have other colors too but still. If they had more colors to start with I would't think this is dumb but since they only have a few options as it is and then having the same color with different shades...

To finish, I honestly would have liked to see something like how in Halo 5 you could earn or buy credits to spend on packs that give you random drops, I feel that the Rarity would actually have significance vs the rarity system now.

Characters body types could have been done better, I honestly can't really see much of a difference outside of the option to change your figure... Its cool they have the option but it would have been nice if the options actually changed the look more. Like how they let you add prosthetic to your character but why not the female form?

I like this game so far, I really like how I can move and explore the world more, more than other FromSoftware games would let you do. Fighting starts off simple and basic but I just started playing, feels like its gunna be tough to master. The death system is a nice addition. Feels like Dark Souls, kinda like hanging out with your wife's sister, shes not your wife but almost feels like it. Ill update my review when I finish the game.
