Very powerful narrative experience. combat is etertaining and fun to watch but with little depth. Some might consider gameplay shallow but the story easily carries the game

A cleaner more polished Rome 2, recomended to TW fans and fans of the period. Still has some of the same issues that original Rome 2 had (trade btwn caps, no population, poor optimization). But also greatly improves on politics, family tree, and overall campaign depth.
