I'm gonna try keeping it somewhat short and focus on important stuff.
Being a very nitpicky RPG player myself, Divinity Original Sin 2 didn't fail to impress me. I'm really glad I found out about this game after what felt like a lifelong disaster in story-based game industry.

Here are some pros you might be looking for considering this game:

+ True RPG. Both gameplay-wise and story-wise. Unlike 98% of RPGs on steam, Divinity allows you to be whoever you'd like to be in this world, good variety in almost every quest, consequences on the open world, decisions actually matter here. It's got Fallout: NV/Disco Elysium role playing vibes, if you know - you know.

+ Balanced and broad gameplay. You never overlevel, never overfarm, from the start to the very ending your fights will not become braindead. Variety of gameplay is also very high-level. Every class is useful, multiple weapons and loot in general to choose from for your preffered playstyle. Challenging and fun.

+ Perfect music backup for the in-game world. It just hits the mark trust me on this one, on point with the overall design of the game. I don't think I've seen a better symbiosis. Simply genious.

+ Co-op up to 4 players. Speaks for itself, considering everything I wrote above.

+ Replayablitiy. As every good RPG should, Divinity makes you want to replay the game as soon as you finish it.

A few cons to mention from the top of my head:

- Story becomes somewhat chaotic to keep track of if you skip a fair bunch of dialogues, you might get lost as to where you are in the story at the current moment and make decisions you didn't want to make. You really need to pay attention for better experience.

- UI is not intuitive whatsoever. Maybe it's just me but I had to google a few times to figure out some of the fundamental stuff.

To conlude this review, I wanna say if you resonate with me on the stuff I pointed out, you will 100% enjoy this game. I recommend everyone giving it at least a try. And trust me, my expectations before playing Divinity were completely different, it delievered what I personally didn't expect at all. As an RPG in the current situation on the market it's a strong 9.5/10.

I have a weird urge to leave this game a positive "review" (rating rather), even though I never do this.

This may be the best non-competitive (story-based) game on steam. Definitely worth giving a try.
Not going to explain anything about it, since I only want it to have more positive ratings.

10/10 though

Don't watch an anime adaptation, it is actually meh.

upd cuz I need that steam achievement, ayyy
