It's a challenging game, but the interesting gameplay and mix of genres is very enjoyable.

BUT, if you prefer more casual games, this is probably not the game you should buy. It has a steep learning curve, and a lot of things to keep track of.

With the new Achievements update that got released 10.000 years after the initial release, it has become even better, in my opinion.

This game is really fun! It is repetitive sure, but the gameplay loop is satisfying and scratches a certain itch I have. The community and developer are also really nice!

Steam says the game is free to play, but what you actually do is download the game and try it out, then when you like it, you can buy the premium version. After that, no more purchases necessary!

It is worth it in my opinion! :)

I have been a fan ever since I have played Siralim 2 on the phone many years ago.

This game is fantastic! From the fusion system to the never ending grind, it's great! The sheer amount of possibilities is staggering! Creating a powerful team full of synergy is great fun and once you see your team demolishing enemies and bosses exactly as you planned, you will see how great this game truly is!

The developer himself is also a great person! Always a bonus :)

This is the only game I have ever backed, and it hasn't disappointed me.

I really like the idea of this game, but the tutorial is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥!

I am literally incapable of finishing the tutorial because it just stopped working. It also makes no sense. It says to link the thing to the computer but doesn't explain how. Thanks game! I figured it out after a Youtube video.

But then after doing the repairs and landing the ship, nothing happened afterwards. Literally nothing!

So yeah, I refunded.

This game makes Bad Rats look like an AAA game.

I managed to get to floor 1000 to beat the game, but oh my god the puppet! Fantastic game though, would recommend it if you don't have a weak heart or don't hate to poop your pants.

Oh Robocraft...

I played the game since the very beginning. The developers and the whiny vocal part of the community have really destroyed this game. It peaked when CPU was determined what kind of build you had because it gave a damage bonus based on how much CPU you had left, so a 100 CPU bot would deal way more damage than a 2000 CPU bot, before tiers became a thing again, ruining any indivuality of parts and builds. So before the second iteration of tiers (there were tiers in alpha, then they removed it and implemented a good system, then removed the good system and added tiers again but worse) building a bot required strategy.

But with tiers it all just became tiny bot, small bot, medium bot, large bot, huge bot depending on chosen tier. Nothing mattered anymore, strategy was completely gone.

There were once lootboxes in the game, and they took them out once the uproar started, which is good (cowardice probably, but still good to do) but offered no alternative as a reward for leveling. So there was little point to progress beyond the tech tree, which was only good for new players. It didn't affect veterans at all.

When tiers hit, they made it MANDATORY to play ranked, making every game you play stressful and frustrating, because you couldn't just play for fun anymore. Room for creative builds were gone, unless you wanted to destroy the rankings for those who wanted to improve, making room for only builds made to win. Games were often lopsided because of this. If you had a team mate who made a fun, creative build, you would lose.

And after that, they didn't even let you choose your game mode anymore. They decided to make the game rotate between game modes with a real timer because 'game modes besides arena weren't being played', forcing you to either wait, or play the game mode you didn't like. Arena was goooood! There's a reason everyone was there!

Now the game is in maintenance mode, the last gasp before it will die a gruesome death...

A shame... it used to be so good!

Okay, a friend gifted me this "game" and dared me to play this for 10 hours.

After the first few levels I felt my braincells slowly decaying into nothingness, while my mind slipped closer and closer to the jaws of oblivion. Once I finished the game I was but a pile of mental instability and hysteria, but I seem to have recovered from that now that the 10 hours are over. Yet I still had 5-6 hours to go after I finished the game, so I started to get all the achievements, which I was able to get bar one because, even if I put it all at the right spots and with the right timming (as the "game" says it, don't get me started on the spelling and grammatical errors, I don't even...) the ball would still miraculously fly off into the 3rd dimension, which should not exist since it's a 2D game, supposedly anyways.

A while later I got a visit from Satan asking me why my soul suffers such great torment and asked me about this ultimate way of torture, so I suppose I did him a favour by telling him and we talked a bit afterwards, he's quite the nice guy if you get to know him, he's just misunderstood, but I digress...

Pros:

-The Bomber Rat looks hilarious, although extremely racist
-Got to talk with Satan, got an invitation to his sweet 16 party next week

Cons:

EVERYTHING!! THE HATE!!! THE MENTAL BREAKDOWNS!!!!!

I rate this game -30/100 - Next time I see that friend of mine I'm gonna kill him on sight, just as this "game" killed me inside. EVER SO SLOWLY!


TL;DR Don't get this game or you'll become a pile of mental instability and hysteria!

I totally recommend this game! It captures the essence of surviving a zombie apocalypse, namely surviving. There are way too many games where you're some stupidly immortal guy with guns bigger than himself running around killing a million zombies in a city with a population of 3000 or so.

In this game you're just an Average Joe and the game certainly lets you know it. You have needs to fulfill and there's no room for mistakes (maybe a few small ones, but they do have an impact most of the time, some are just downright fatal). You also have to be wary of every zombie out there, even 1! Why? Because one scratch can kill you. Even if you have 20 water items and a lot of food, you can still die easily.

On my first run, I got scratched twice and bitten in the head on day 21, so I decided to go out like a badass. So I went outside in my underpants with a sweater on, take my trusty nailball bat and just kill some walking corpses. I died a hero that day. A bit like Superman, since he also shows his underpants.

In short: if you like zombie games but get tired of all those same generic zombie games out there, get this one, you won't regret it!

Although it's funny to mess everything up, it is an incredibly frustrating game. Even the first level was too heart! (get it?) I might be doing something wrong but that stupid hand just wouldn't go into the ribcage to grab that heart, and I tried it for 6 minutes, then restarted to see if I did something wrong and I still couldn't do it.

So in short, the game is funny, but at the same time incredibly frustrating and difficult. Never seen a hand that's so hard to control.

So even though this is a negative review, don't see it as a terrible game, it's just not something meant for me.
