this game looks really good but it made a big mistake of using xbox live service. i agreed ones to xbox live to play online and now it can't even start. xbox is sending to much data to its service that it sutdown my game. (you must send your data from your computer to xbox to play online with friends)

A really good strategy game and i had lot of fun playing it. Graphics are stunning and missions are challenging. Hours upon hours of game play.

I loved it. I enjoy getting into the story and the whole concept of fighting an alien puppet government and the end was interesting.

-The difficulty was hard and in some cases very hard. I quickly learned to save at the beginning of the mission and save again every time I killed a group of bad guys without losing any of my own people. I decided early on that I wouldn't survive to the end if I lost people, so I reloaded anytime someone died. There was a lot of reloading but I didn't mind it. I would try different things and enjoyed working my way gradually through situations that seemed impossible.

-Timed objectives in a mission, half the time the number of turns you get to complete said objective is so many more than you would possibly need that it's unnecessary, and the other half of the time you get 8 turns to spend 5 or 6 of them running across the entire map so you have 2 or 3 turns to try to kill enemies that outnumber you two to one and pray to god that the guy you sent to get on the objective doesn't get gangbanged in the meantime.

this DLC somehow do not work. the base game works but this was wast of money.

I regret buying this "semi-finished" (DLC) game made of DLC's. the hole game feels so off from what shogun 2 and medieval 2 was,

1) the diplomacy is not even relevant, all the start nabors was already "frendly" / already "made a deal with you" and there is no trade option so why have it if you can't make deals.
2) the money upkeep or economic sense felt gone and non existent.
3) the hint / helper was not given advise on anything when cliking on the (?) question mark you needed to read throght it all.
4)the combat felt kind of dull you just clicked and over in 4 minutes and the AI of your units would just stand there when the enemy withdrew like they did not know they where fighting. annoying. and i used magic (well the first spell but i still was not amused). it felt like i was just not a part of the battle.
5) the buildings was boring and the recruitment all to simplified. and no strategy of large armies only 1 hero with his men. it is more intimidating in shogun 2 when hundreds of small armies trails together to try to destroy you and i see this game is like total war attila / rome.
6) the feeling of racing through technology before your enemys, was not there.
7) so many races was hidden behind a pay wall, my love for warhammer died a little.
8) oh yeah and the loading time was the worst i ever experienced but was more fluent after the first load.

just don't expect the game to be a total war game but something else.

all in all a disappointment for me but that is just my experience and i think this game is hyped for what it is.

free game and you can play it without the microtrsactions

my first 10 hours of this game is extremely impressive: this game feel more well written then the first, but why i bought the game is the style of play. you have total free roaming around to do what ever you like there is all ways a quest that put you in a new direction and makes replay ability high. the best is the well cast voice acting all most all text is voice acted (99%). if you play multiplayer you are not forced to play narrative with the other players. f.eks. you can have a player locked in combat and when the guards are faceing your friend you can sneak pass them given of course your friend don't pass his turn. read more in combat.

less good: while the multiplayer is free from being forced into the same quest and dialog as your friend,you will also miss the first voiced sentences in a friend's convocation and need to read it yourself this however is no problem for me but could be problematic for other people not following the same quest and want to hear all the digolog so find a slow gamer friend. you can't have it all and you can always play the game again and it will never be the same.

combat: is hard but excellent. it is turn based like Xcom but do not stop the rest of the world only for those in a fight. it is perfect for a friend to sneak in position and cast a spell like an ambush this however need a lot of practise and voice chat (your friend might pass his turn and the enemy turns around and find you or miss clicks and breaks stealth).while using a computer is much like xcom the controller from a console is a little clunky and miss clicking but feels more immersive what i have seen.

all most all the objects in the game can be moved around and you can even use a bucket as a helmet xD

there is a "game master mod" where you can make your own campaign and steam workshop so the game could last for ever.

warning: this game can be extremely addictive if played in single player so have a friend or 3. and make a regular game date together.

i give it 10/10 it has already been worth my money.

best game ever!

Just bought this to get rid of advertisements and because my favorite MOD. now is being made in apex. I will never use the actual apex content and I know the single player is not particularly good or innovating by watching youtube. While this offers one map mods offers 12. i feel a bit forced.

the game can't even start. the servers are poor.

so this was my favorite game until Apex DLC was made. If you buy this game alone most of the time when ever there is a Apex object in the server your screen will be blocked by a Apex advertising every 10 sec. when you exit the server you are locked to look at Apex advertising for 20 sec. and in the past there where at least 50 full servers with 40 to 60 people on each now all servers with apex is locked and only a few servers left. quite recently most mods are using Apex "a3\vegetation_f_exp\tree\t_cyathea_f_p3d" this means all the grass and trees are gone or crashing your game.
framerates are low so have a super computer and internet.
I think it's too much for people who have paid for a game that will soon be unplayable.
Apex should be included in the future purchase of the game like a big bundle.
or at least delete the option to buy this as a stand alone purchase as i did.
being interrupted by commercials destroys the immersion of the game which was the point of the game.
as long as the DLC advertising is there my review will be negative. (you pulled the last straw on me Bohemia Interactive) :-P
i would have buyed the Apex like i buyed the other DLCs but i'm against the business model of microtransactions, preordering, advertising and braking games up in DLCs like hitman.

most positive things about the game.
-most realistic game I've tried
-masive player servers
-good platform to meet new friends
-Unlimited opportunities through player made mods
-many variations of game mode "like vs. or coop or Role play and beyond"
-infinity missions

they are working on running the game on 64bit which is an improvement making this review positive.

if your ganna buy arma 3 buy all the DLCs as well.

the game is a 9/10 game no doubt.

what is up with the license agreement: facebook google yahoo and other information sides??? do they sell the information? it is unclear... im unsure on this game. it do not say "we will not use your information in any way"
