Its ok if there was a neutral mark id give it that, maybe 5-6 6/10 game so far.

It seems alot of the negative reviews are salty oasis gamers. While this game is in beta and the devs have a history of not finishing their work, it should be noted.

Another complaint is the whole game seems AI generated. Even walking into the first village you will greet an poorly scripted village elder. Which is pretty wild considering one person could have put minimal work into it lol. Theres a starting movie and actually somewhat interesting storyline so its a mash up.

Now for game play the maps pretty good i found the weather mechanics harsh and logged a complaint it felt like it rained for 3 days in game. And also after 7days it goes to winter and i had no food stored. So i had to start over and try smash out a small base without sleep inside 7days. Another thing which is weird is why would they let some rando show up outside town and start building everywhere without taxing him or something. Plus you just recruit people and they come and work for you for free? The concept is funny.

Yes i recommend this game, its good to play a space game after all this time with some actual meat on the bone.It has a Star citizen vibe but looks less polished, that aside it actually has working missions and doesnt crash like SC. Id say its inbetween SC and elite dangerous on game play. With a lite KOTOR style mission story mode. its a single player game.The first couple missions had me impressed. the 1st you hunt down some pirates, then get caught in the cross fire of two fleets fighting. Then the 2nd mission is a ground assualt, where you have to save a package. The package gets taken onto a space cargo ship in the sky. and you have to go up and board it. Its all pretty clunky but worked without crashes and actual had some variety to the missions. At least the dev put some effort into the story. Sorry for spoilers but at least now you know theres some content in the game.I think the games pushing towards building a fleet and conqurering planets somehow.

Has ship building, Trading, Missions, Astroid mining. Its worth checking out if your into space games.
Plenty of combat.

Mods will save this game as usual. Buy it and get your fix warband fans.

Fighting in the arena and if you take out horse riders the horses run through the wall and disappear, its insanity or a troll.Please fire the person who done that.

Not sure what else but the world seems empty of hostile encounters as well.

If your thinking this is some sort of successor to final fantasy tactics from looking at the graphics its not.
Theres a ton of talking at the start with not much battles, i found my self yawning, combat is ok.
leveling looks plain, you level up weapons with iron ingots and money, so no shopping for weapons and armour. No changing jobs or classes.
Theres some sort of level up class system but you need some badge and lvl requirement.

Im only 8hrs in so cant judge the story or how leveling or recruiting will play out. you will get your tactics combat fix but its still meh. id give the game so far a 4-5/10. 8hrs in and maybe 6 story battles -_-

Had this game in my library for a while and decided to give it a proper go. I ended up having a good time. The games in between Men of war series and Red dragon in play style. It's hard to get into due to the difficulty, it took a long while to get the tactics right to win. The cool parts i liked are Tow missiles in combat and Air strikes. Plus you can steal enemy vehicles and sell them or use them for the next mission.

Good tactics game i look forward to playing xcom2.

Finally on steam. The first two games were awesome.
You still need an origin account to get it running (couldn't remember my password)
And i dont have my old saves so im gonna have to start back at the first game.

Cant recommend yet, no campaign or story mode to follow.
Everything else about the game is great, Ground fights , space flight, music, atmosphere is all really well done.
Just no story so no point really.
(Awesome game no completed campaign like Planet Explorers).

Really well made game, serious attention to detail. Awesome game play i had fun. If you play this game make sure to look up how to speed the game up. I was playing with the game sped up x2. Normal speed felt like a snails pace.
