The game itself is solid, providing a mixture of just-realistic-enough gunplay with the frantic hilarity of Left 4 Dead 4-player coop in a way that caught me and my playgroup unlike many games have. The trappings are truly Starship Troopers in tone, with just over the top enough satire and comments.

Honestly, if you're reading reviews, you probably already know what this game is about. It's fun, challenging, sometimes unfairly due to bugs, but we've kept coming back to it. And you probably also know the meta-narrative between the developer and Sony.

But they've listened to the community (Managed Democracy indeed) and this game now deserves to receive the positive reviews it's gameplay warrants, rather than the negative reviews the community had to use to vocalize their disagreement with Sony's stance.

I have broken mice, lost friends, and killed family. 11/10 would buy again.

Several 100 hours later...

I have lied to my loved ones. They don't know it was me. I have slowly bought their trust through tasks. My girlfriend lies decapitated before me. My friends lie dead before me. I cannot scream, for the spaceman says "Shush". I want to go home.

Still 10/11, buy it to play with your friends, that's how this game is fun
