can't 1tap headshot with sniper, cant 2tap body shot with it either. It's so massively undertuned there's no real point using it. Too bad cause I installed hoping to have fun with fast paced and aggressive sniping

Ping abusers are rampant and cheaters seem to have multiplied as well.

Hitreg favors the shooter, so if your ping is massive, so is the window of time that you have to kill someone, despite them having moved out of the way/behind cover several moments ago.

Slightly repetitive in some areas but nothing too dramatic
I'm not gonna comment on anything political regarding the intellectual property and all that boring stuff.

The game is good.
The combat is dynamic and makes clever use of a combo system and creative spellsets that you can customize a bit. I only wish there were more slots for spells in each set. (Each set - max 4 sets, has 4 slots)
The story is kind of bland but I feel the game makes up for it in content size and mechanics.
The most annoying thing so far is finding that out of bounds areas are blocked by a huge magical shield.
It's kind of unnatural to the open world essence of the game.

Other than that I give this game 4/5 stars.

Good game. Apart from slight inconsistencies with the story (from the books that is) it's doing a great job at feeling like Dune and looking like Dune.
I just hope they add a minimap.

It's very respectable how they wove the politics and ressources from the books into the game as mechanics.

This is just ridiculously good.

It's so hard to explain exactly why other than it "feels good"
I found myself enjoying simple tasks such as chopping wood.
I am very excited to see where the future of this game will lead and I hope the devs will stay on track with the great job they've done so far.

I'll do a Pros/Cons list to help form an opinion:

Pros:
Atmospheric
Great sound design and music
Fun Combat
Fun physics engine
Cool theme and artstyle
Great building system
Rich on content
Addictive

Cons:
First boss is a bit easy
Building can sometimes be a bit of a daunting task (takes time getting used to the building system, but is great when u know how to use it properly)
Starvation is not a threat, food works more as a HP and stamina buff than for the sake of the hunger system
Graphics aren't the greatest - this is worth noting if you are very invested in graphics, I personally am not so for me this is not a con.
Farming system is a bit strange - no clear way to regain planted seeds (I lost some carrot sees because of this!)


I just.. it's so good man. Please buy this so you can enjoy it also.

This is a cool game. It does something not many games does, which is commit entirely to one concept. In this case: slow, meticulous and difficult realism. Why is this a good thing? Because done the way this game does it, it becomes more immersive than annoying.
It's a solid game and worth getting into. Don't let the difficulty level scare you off.

Is it fun at times? Sure. Especially when the bugs aren't game-breaking, but simply add comedic effect. Otherwise it's not worth your money. Coop is mediocre at best. Considering how big a part of the advertisement around this game has been focused on the coop part, it's dissapointing how little effort they have put into it. For example, whoever is NOT hosting the game, will not progress as much as the host, when it comes to unlocks. There's this one guy who you have to kill and the reward is his sniper rifle. If you're playing coop, only the host will unlock the rifle.

Oh and the storyline is utter ♥♥♥♥. You are legitimately yanked out of your world exploration and forced into the main storyline without any explanation or reason.

If you're considering buying this game, I think you might need to see this list of more constructive things to do with your money:

1) Make a sandwich with it, eat it.

2) Buy candy

3) Shove it up your nose and sniff it, in order to enrichen your mind

4) Spend them on anything else than Starforge

5) Burn them.

6) Give them to a friend.

7) Buy a weapon that can be used to kill the people behind Code Hatch (devs of starforge)

8) Make small green paper airplanes that look really cool and fly really well.

Basically, Starforge is a classic example of why you should never, ever in any case whatsoever trust anything on the internet. The dev team behind starforge has given completely up on this hopeless piece of radioactive retardation they call a videogame. I suspect it may be in order to fund their current and more successful project; Reign of Kings.

While Reign of Kings does look promising, I strongly advise you to remember this: The same dev team screwed over thousands of people already and are not being punished for it.
