Don't buy this game buy previous versions. This game is exactly the same as every other iteration from the last 5 o 6 years except the developers throw in a few more useless sections and rejig how things look. Where the game actually matters (the game engine) is still woefully far from being a football simulator as the 2014 version, nothing seems to have changed. Useless goalkeepers constantly getting beaten at the near post even from tight angles, defenders who can't mark, tackle, win a single header (even when there stats suggest otherwise) and most of the time refuse to go near any opposition player, jump for high balls, or track a run by a opposition attacker. Midfielders who consistently receive the ball and instead of passing (even when players are running through on goal or are in space) run into blind alleys until they are tackled, stand there like clueless morons until they are tacked or spray high long passes into areas where none of my players are standing straight to the toe of an opposition player. Strikers who need 10-15 shots to score a goal (regardless of the tactics you play) even with high finishing and composure while the other team seem to consistently score with 1 or 2 shots on target. I think the makers of this game are taking the p***, and if they want to make a suitable football simulator game, I suggest they actually watch some games of football rather than just releasing the same repackaged and unrealistic crap every single year.

To anyone reading this I would suggest avoiding this series as you only help support the lazy developers who have no interest in improving the game and only in milking gullible FM fans. If your heart is set on playing a FM game then go play FM14 -16 as they are probably cheaper than this game which is pretty much exactly the same game with a different skin and a few different options on the menu
