Yeah, I agree with you that Hogwarts Legacy somehow feels lifeless. Did you know a part of the map was cut? also they planned to add in a morality system + ability to gain (or lose) house points, etc. So many removed / unfinished features that were leaked via the game's files... hopefully a part of them will be included in the "Director's Cut" edition. They semi-confirmed working on it, with the help of Rocksteady devs. (Btw, you could write a review on the game)
