Absolutely the best of the main trio of build engine games. Cool, atmospheric, and hard as nails on higher difficulties. Cannot recommend it more.

An amazing game. Great lore, and a ton to discover. Fun, snappy gunplay, and I've never gotten tired of shootin' space rhinos. Absolutely would recommend this game to anyone.

The DLC suffers from the same problem that Vergil mode in DMC3's special edition did. Namely that Vergil has about half the moves dante does. Vergil doesn't even have a double jump. Not to mention, you never fight anything where a cliff isn't present. So most often then not, the enemy will get knocked off by a combo. Meaning most encounters are complete after a few air combos.

Not to mention, unlike in DMC3, where you play the entire game as Vergil, so you got a lot of run time. You have a tiny, 6 mission story. And not even a bloody palace mode where you can just kinda play around in for a while.

While there are 2 new types of enemies in the DLC, there's only about 5 types of enemies all together. And the last boss is basically just a copy of the last boss from the main game. There are no mini-games, like in the main story. You simply pick up items off the ground. And the final mission was just the first mission, with slightly more enemies.

Over all, it felt a bit lazy. Pick it up on sale if you just can't do without it. But like a lot of the reviews said, just watch it on Youtube. Save yourself a few bucks.

As someone who lives on a farm. I can safely say this is a 100% accurate representation of goats.
