For a F2P game, there's a surprisingly large amount of depth and customization with it. You don't often feel like you're stuck at one level for very long and you're almost always gaining power from something by just having it run in the background.

A friend of mine gifted me this game around launch and I've got to say I've had a lot of fun blasting bots and spreading Democracy among the stars. Devs have had a couple slip ups here and there but they've been largely unsually decent and rewarding players across the board until here recently... Having to link an account when buying the game is one thing, however being told months later that if I don't link an account I will get banned is something else all together...

Edit: Within two days this game went from having a +90% positive review score to less then 20% positive. The Players have spoken, Sony are you listening?

EDIT: 5/6/24- We did it...
In a surprising twist, Sony actually backed down and decided to not force the PSN connection. The game dropped as low as 15% positive and it's slowly rising back up. Let's hope Sony remembers this lesson for a long time to come. Wait what a, I talking about, we'll be right back to this the next time Sony tries to "think"...

It's a nice game if you like automation games. Not complicated enough to need a computer degree to figure out, but complicated enough where you'll get a decent taste of it. Can platinum the game by about the halfway point, so it's a bit sad that it doesn't really give you much of a reason to keep going past that point.

Diablo 4 lite, without mtx and the content updates are a little on the slower side. Not bad but not amazing. Gloomrot really helped put it in the right direction where people will remember it for a bit, just not sure if it helped enough for people to remember long enough for the next DLC.

3600+ hours into it and it's my fallback game when I'm bored of everything, including life itself. It's a fun time waster though I feel like the recent Divitri Paradox was a step in the wrong direction with how power creep went. We went from grinding random bosses for gear, to hoping the one or two weapons we like out of HUNDREDS pops up in rotation for us to get a super variant of it.

Not a bad game what so ever, though I feel like it might of been a little over hyped. It's a game that needed to happen to make waves with the current industry however it doesn't do much to change the formula you would expect coming from a game like this.

Remember all of those Gatcha games that you spent hundreds of dollars on because you enjoyed the story, Only for the game to still eventually end with their servers shut down where you can't play it anymore? That's what happened with Megaman X Dive, however instead of being erased from existance like most dead Gachas, Capcom did something crazy and ACTUALLY ported it, without the Gacha Mechanics, to a single player experience. It's an overall fun game, though a bit more challenging since you can't pull something broken from the Gacha System early to carry you through the game.

Game had a lot of potentional, but as you can see below from a post from the devs on their Discord, they've abandoned the game. Buy on sale or not at all. Game is playable, but is lacking some critical functions that would of made this game the next Dwarf Fortress...

"Dwarves! Since releasing in November 2021, Hammerting has received two major patches with, for example, brand new dwarf models, traps, bug fixes and balance changes. We are proud of the game, and delighted at all the encouragement and help we have received from this community before, during, and after release. In light of sales data, and to make future ends meet, our team will have to work on other projects going forward, and for this reason no additional major updates to Hammerting are currently planned. We aim to continue to provide basic support for the game, and ideally fix critical bugs that may appear. We'll still be here to talk with you and discuss as well. We believe the game to be in the best state it ever has been in, so please, keep playing, telling us all about the crazy things your dwarves do, and showing us your mighty homes far 'neath the Mountain."
