I have just completed the map for the first time, this game is looking great, played smoothly until I got to the final area, it became a little sluggish, I'm assuming due to the troop count, I like the skill tree and as I leveled my character I unlocked different upgrade paths for my skills. This game is great fun, and I am looking forward to playing it in the future as it develops.

FUN

If you enjoy circle strafing this game is for you. Fun game for a while but extremely repetitive. Go kill bugs, collect crystal and go back and upgrade. Graphics are good, sound effects sure do sound like I'm smashing bugs, weapons are cool, didn't use the mech mode the jet mode felt like it could do the job better, maybe when I upgrade my crystal storage more it may be worth using. Didn't really feel challenged except for fighting the bosses, even then all I did was circle strafe. Great game for early access.

This game is so frustratingly fun!!

Honestly, this game feels like a walking simulator when you are on foot, then when you get to the front lines it feels like a dying simulator. The whole three hours I played I saw 3 enemy players in total, but died over a hundred times. I don't know if I'm just blind or if I'm just terrible at this game but I did not enjoy my experience.

Honestly, this game isn't what I was expecting, graphics aren't all that big of a deal with growing up on the NES, but my main problems are some bugs in the game like when using the controller to play every once in a while I'd have to switch back to the mouse to regain control, the fact as playing as the Ninja I couldn't get the story to progress any further from the starting area, even after exploring every inch of the cave systems that my character could survive in. The stamina is by far the worst thing, once out of stamina I'm out with no way other than purchasing/finding stamina potions or food and when I start with no gold to speak of and no idea where I can get some food other than finding it. I just let my character run out of stamina and let him get killed. Now I think that If a character relies so heavily on a source to even swing a sword or cast spells there should be a natural regen of that source. I wouldn't say this game is ready to be released for early access at all needs a lot more polishing and squashing of bugs before I'll give it another play.

I don't know why Relic changed the formula of how they made the Warhammer games but sadly this doesn't hold up to Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War or Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War II. I still find Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War the most entertaining. If Relic goes back to the roots of this genre and adds the loot system they had in Dawn of War II then I think they may have something. This linear mission line is old and overused, let me take planets and sectors for bonuses. The game is pretty though.

The first 30 min of this game I wasn't really enjoying myself, but then I started to make some progress and the island population started to rise and I find myself playing for 9 hours the day I bought it.

The graphic style, the story and the game play are amazing.
