...And they do really succeed

If you have already played Bastion or Transistor , you have probably bought this game. For those who happen not to know both the games and the developer I`d like to present the key features which will help you to make the right decision and will make you become the ardent fan (of both) and join our ranks in waiting for new masterpieces:
  • Hand-drawn stylish grafics, that you will certainly remember
  • Wonderful soundtrack by Darren Korb that is worth to be paid for (though I`m not a fan of the trend of adding other things to Steam such as sountracks, self-made movies and etc)
  • Rich and inspiring plot and universe that waits to be explored (via different sources but devs have done a great job filling books and dialogues so be ready to read a lot; worth it, take my word)
  • Unique and lovely characters
  • Elements of non-linear story and variation of choices that influence the world (this feature is on an excellent level in Pyre)
  • Simple (some may even call it "arcade") gameplay that you can`t call flat as devs have made a lot of small adds to enrich it (you can remember different guns from Bastion, programms in Transistor and now there are your fellow exiles, each with his own unique gameplay features; there is also the same very system that allows you to strengthen your opponents if you feel the lack of challenge)
  • 15+ hours of gameplay (it took me 19 hours as I have read all the dialogs and the Book of Rites) and replayability (I`ll certainly have another run)

So don`t ponder and may the Scribes guide you.
