I was wary about getting Imperator: Rome after all the bad reception it received, but i can safely say that so far I've not been let down. In fact I have very much enjoyed it.

Best bits:
Really enjoyable warfare: Game encourages grand strategy and picking a unique strategy to build your army composition on
Monarchies are very enjoyable to play, i found myself really investing in my rulers and their family

Worst Bits:
Republics still need some work: characters are hard to invest in, more needs to be done to draw attention to notable figures, this aspect should be inproved considering Rome is the highlight of the game
Game Still feels a bit messy: It is hard to tell some times, what modifiers are feeding and effecting what, text boxes could be a bit more clear. For example the titles of Characters should be put in bold.

I love the game but hate the hours of my time it sucks from my life.
