If you enjoy the Dark Souls series, you will like this installment as well.

I will admit that out of the three games in this series, this one is my least played. That doesnt mean I had a blast playing through it.

I played this right after beating DS1. Two hours in and I thought "This seems like an arcade version of DS1." It's not as gruesome as the first and leveling up was way easier. But co-op with friends is way less stressful and worth hours of fun. If you play this game to compare it to the other souls games then you won't have fun. The Souls series is great and to say that "Dark Souls 2 is my least favorite" doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. I'm sure you'd rather play this game over many others in you library.

My only complaint is that this game has a lot of animal warriors/baddies instead of legit demons.

It seems alright at first but the more I played the less interested I was in it. The gameplay seemed legit when I was starting but it just becomes so tedious to the point you spend so much time editing your character for every room you step in.
The artwork was not for me.
The story and dialogue is terrible. It seems it was written by some angry fedora-tipping neckbeard atheist.
You will get your $15 worth if you:
•were bullied a lot
•are too lazy to work out
•grew up in an overly religious community
•have a die hard passion to punish a being that you claim no faith in
•are determined to play through any game you can
