Not really a review, the game itself has a lot to offer especially for those that were fan of the game growing up.

However I would like to focus on a more bad side. This has mainly to do with Steam, while it is true you can play this game on Windows 10, I have found there to be a great difficulty to even get the game working on another Win 10 pc. The reason for that is because of how the game needs the older Direct X and turning it on in the legacy mode tab in your programs and features doesn't just make it work. I have tried many different things until my bro and I figured out it indeed was just the Direct X which for some reason wasn't properly installed.

The bottom line here is that it isn't the first game on Steam that requires a lot of extra additional work to make it run, and it makes me wonder why these games are even released on Steam at all. This is at most abandonware, but yes let's try to get another 10 euro per copy. A copy that probably won't work on most people's PC unless they have done the exact amount of trouble, or have figured out the problem(s). I can't even boot the game through steam myself, I have to manually go to the folder to even boot it up. If I were to boot it up through steam it would just get stuck indefinitely until I reinstall or figure out why it is messing up.

Just a few months ago I bought L.A. Noire for steam as well, I couldn't make it run, I hadn't bothered with the reviews (bad move) because I remembered it as a pretty fun game on PS3. To my surprise I wasn't able to make it run at all, and read that L.A. Noire is one of the worst ports that have ever been made. Now I ask you, why do you put these games on Steam? There are way too many games on this platform that aren't functional from the get go. Why not either have a team work on the patches or hold out on rereleasing them until they are confirmed to work? Especially with Windows 10, which is a common OS nowadays.

I am sure there are people out there that have no problems working with this, but you have to understand the standard-user probably doesn't even know how to resolve these issues. To me, it is just a way to waste my time, steam's time, and just make an unpleasant experience out of a great memory.

Rant over.
