The fundamentals are there - it just needs a little more time to cook.

Current rating: 2.5/5

Planet Coaster 2 comes with a promise of great graphics and improved management features, and it certainly delivers on those fronts. The visual experience is top-notch particularly post hot-fix and the tweaks to management mechanics are a welcome improvement.

However, the game is currently plagued by several critical bugs. The flumes don't work correctly, which is a significant letdown for those looking to create water-themed attractions. Guests will stop riding them for no apparent reason and the physics applied are just laughable. Given that this was a major focus of the launch, I'm a little surprised Frontier did not have this more polished. Guest pathing is a mess, leading to frustrating game play as guests often get stuck, bunched up or won't visit attractions. This makes it quite difficult to complete the career objectives. Additionally, many features that were standard in the original Planet Coaster are conspicuously absent, such as custom sounds and billboards making this sequel feel incomplete. I know Frontier have announced that these are coming - but given they are already staples in Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo, there is no excuse.

Overall, while Planet Coaster 2 has potential, it currently feels more like a beta version than a polished final product. It's like a cake that's still in the oven—it needs more time to cook before it's ready to be fully enjoyed. Until these issues are addressed, it's hard to fully enjoy what should have been an exciting follow-up to a beloved game. That said I have faith in Frontier addressing these issues and will be happy to ammend my review. But if you're on the fence, I'd give it a miss for the time being.

Vampire Survivors is a game that will suck you in and never let you go. It's like crack cocaine, but more addictive.

Be warned: this game will ruin your life. You will lose track of time, forget your obligations, and neglect your health. You will divorce your wife, alienate your children and forget to feed your dog.

You will become obsessed with collecting gems, upgrading your skills, and unlocking new characters. You will spend hours on end playing this game, until you realize it's 3 a.m. and you have a meeting in the morning. You will curse yourself, but you won't be able to stop. You will say "just one more run", but you will lie.
