Nuclear explosion is meh (visually).

The game has robots, fully automatic weapons and mosquito that you can kill - me likey.

Really good rougelike /roguelite, a lot of items, weapons and mutations - it means a lot of replayability. Graphics are nice and the game seems to be optimized, on my not so fast rig (vega 56 and ryzen 3800x) Beacon flies at 120 fps most of the time @ 1440p. Sounds are good enough and music is ok. It is a shame that Beacon isn't recognized by more gamers, any way I've nominated Beacon for the LABOR OF LOVE award.

I bought Synthetik with supporter pack on GOG (because I like to own the games I play) and played 150 hours but that version lacks arena mode, so I bought Synthetik again with another supporter pack and Arena Premium Upgrade and supporter pack - yes the game is that good, it is worth double dipping. If you like arpg games (diablo, path of exile) but you also like guns and shooting - this is it ! with one difference you will die at the end (roguelite).
My pluses and minuses for the game (some of them are very subjective).
PROS:
- game runs even on a potato pc,
- guns, lots of guns,
- memes, lots of memes,
- many items and perks so...
- lots of builds so therefore...
- massive re playability,
- the looks, simple yet so climatic,
- the sound of guns, explosions, items, enemies yet again very climatic,
- weapon upgrades and mechanics,
- the music, yes it's good (also listening it during my gym workout),
- coop,
- in-game global chat (the true endgame).
CONS:
- no save of the session,
- some bugs in coop (game engine related)
- tactical mode is cancer (but maybe good in coop)
- no lan support as of yet
- the game on the controller is bad, in theory it should be great for twin stick action but in practice it was designed with mouse and keyboard controls in mind (I recommend keypad or even PS3's navigation controller)

Devs are great and are listening to the community and they are also preparing Synthetik 2 (early access) but definitely check Synthetik 1 first!
