easy to start with and fun in general

The game has now gotten a new company, under the old company many changes were made, possibly good hearted, but they dumbed down the game and simplified crafting so much that it affected economy and player experience. Added DLCs that made alot of crafting obsolete, ports have less meanings because you can in theory keep to one port and craft anything, so it makes discovery of the map not needed etc. Instead of building and expanding already added mechanics and polish them they are half finished and instead removed if it wont work etc. Ui is old and nonintuitive etc.

It might get better, because it cant possibly get worse.
