Game has become unplayable.
When you try to join someone else's lobby, you (most of the time) do not load in, game tells you that you are waiting on others "Joining". This is not the case. You sit there for 5-10 mins, until you get bored, join a different lobby for this to occur again and again. This has never plagued my experience in the past, yet after a year or two, come back to the game and this has been my experience.

Here's the primary weakness AND strength of Morrowind that you NEED to know before purchase.
Morrowind is, for all intents and purposes, one of the last true Open World Role Playing games.

Ever wondered what the purpose of directional town signs was? Follow the roads for the easy path.
Want to know where to go for this quest? Find it yourself.
Want a refresher of what you were doing? Read your actual Journal (you're going to be doing this alot).
Is this enemy too tough for you? Save and find out.
Is this dinosaur looking thing going to weaken me so much (from sickness) that I need to drop half of my supplies? Want to take that chance?
Can I just fast travel to this town? Does that town have transport available to it? Or running to it is your only option?
Remember how running decreased your stamina? You will not forget soon.
If you're tired does the chances of you landing a hit also drop? You bet.
Enemies DO NOT LEVEL WITH YOU. Either you can beat them or you can't. Get stronger and then try again.

If you have only played Skyrim, this game (most likely) may not suit your taste. You have to remember, for 2002 the looks of the game were great. Story is what you would expect (if you pay attention).
