I'm giving this game a thumbs up, but be warned the cost of the game isn't measured in dollars but in keyboards.

Do you like getting snakes shoved up your bum when you're trying to take a nap? This might just be the dlc for you then. Why I am playing this beautifully crafted piece of trash is beyond me. Please send me money for therapy.

For the cost, this is a fantastic rogue-lite. Progression system isn't over complex, game mechanics are a really interesting blend of tower defense and resource acquisition. The premise is unique and interesting enough to merit reaching the end of the story. If there's anything the game lacks, it's probably just a few more weapon options and maybe a some small tweaks to the power ups that quite frankly don't get used because they are too cumbersome to really be of much use. (I'm looking at you docking station, I want to love you, but you get in the way of everything).

Overall, really enjoyable game for the price. I'd give it a 7.5/10

This game is stellar (. . . hehe. . . ), it is the thinking man's bullet hell. Tons of unique ways to take every game with an absurd number of possible builds. Can't wait to see what comes down the pipeline, the developers seem really cool and have implemented some really cool ideas that the community had recommended. If you like rouge-lite style games and bullet hell games, pick this up!

EDIT: So clearly I wasn't done after I ragged on this game at 137 hours. . . This game certainly has some flaws. But if you get past them, and more importantly if you get on discord and actually play with some fun people, this is an extremely unique experience. Yeah, there are still VPN'ers from China which is basically like hacking for a latency advantage. Sure there's killers who will tunnel you and face camp you. . .But at the end of the day, I've laughed so hard at some of the moments in this game, and there's a feeling of accomplishment when the odds seem impossible to make a comeback but you manage to get your whole team back on their feet and make it out. TLDR: Game is great with the right company, don't play with sweaty tryhards and you'll have lots of fun.

This game can potentially be fun. But right now, I've never seen a more toxic community in a game. There's a million different ways people can ruin the game, and honestly, there's really nothing to discourage it. There's also just game breaking abilities that people can use that completely subvert the mechanics of the game itself. Don't get me wrong, there's a great concept here, and maybe if you play with a full group of friends it can be alot of fun. But people are complete asshats in this game. Killers dragging the game out after they've won, people intentionally giving away your position, killers face camping survivors on the hook just because they enjoy ruining the game for one person, survivors DCing because the above issues which ruins everyones game. . . This game is a cluster ^%$# right now. And quite frankly, I don't think it can be fixed. If you're going to buy it, be sure you have a group of people you are going to play with, and make sure you don't pay full price. Otherwise, save yourself the blood pressure spiking agony and frustration that this game brings.
