First of all, it is sad to see a review bombing on this game just because they want to support LGTBI groups. It is not meant to force the ideology or any politics but support them.

After more than 50 hours playing this game, I can say it is a breath of fresh air in the Pokemon-like world. A good MMO with plenty of things to do and really enjoyable.

Edge of Eternity It is and It will be potentially a good game when it is fully released.

What can I say now about it? Well, as I mentioned, it is not finished, we will ahve to wait a bit till it reaches gold. However, despite the bugs and lack of polish (give it time), it really has some good points at moment, for example:

GRAPHICS

The colorful world is great to walk around, beautiful surrounds and some good scenarios. Characters are well designed and very unique on their own, set of colors for every one of them can differenciate perfectly their personality aswell as their role in the game.

CHARACTER VOICES

Really good voices for an indie, they fit perfectly their character.

MUSIC

Just perfect. Great battle theme, you will eventually search it on youtube to add it to your playlist.
Generally it really fits every place. You dont get tired of listening to it.

BATTLE SYSTEM

Unique Battle-Turn System. Never saw something like it. Some hexagons on the field and u can move your characters through it (and stack them on 1 hexagon). Its like a mix of Disgaea and Final Fantasy and it is really dynamic and fun. Has some factors like crystals (similar to FF7 materia and mixed with FFX sphere system) to set unique abilities for each character, and great special abilities (with cinematics). Furthermore, you can interact with your surroundings to help you get along and usually u need to do some different interactions to ease ur fights.

STORY (No spoilers)

What Ive seen so far it is really interesting, some good plots and you just want to see more and more. Some good Sci-Fi--Fantasy.

SIDEQUESTS

There are some sidequests that are just "go hunt that, go deliver that", BUT there are some others that are GREAT with all the caps. They share a bit of world-lore with you and make you feel some things even if they are short.

GATHER and CRAFT

Theres a system of gather/craft, it shows some influence of MMORPG like WoW. It is simple, but effective and well done. It is really short on recipes at moment, but just give it time.


Do I recommend this game?
With all Ive seen at moment, Yes

Why?
It is an indie made by people that loves RPG. Has some new mechanics and a good story that could give us a good experience and some hours of fun.
