Challenging but very fun, even after you're finished with the first run, difficulty stacks to NG+7. When you're done with all that, or just taking a break, PVP is an infuriating, exciting experience that you'll probably accidentally try before you want to. The vast majority of bosses have no gimmicks, and the same goes for enemies. The lore doesn't reveal itself very easily, so you'll have to unearth it through item descriptions and NPC conversations. Most weapons are viable in combat, making PVP and PVE extremely diverse! There are virtually no loading screens while exploring, as almost all areas are connected. The main problem with the game is its PC port, which can be patched with community made mods, or you can plug in a controller. Best of luck to you if you start playing, make sure to learn by doing, and don't read guides your first run! Also, back up your saves. You'll need it in case you run into a cheater. They're rare, but vicious.
