His calm, friendly and consistent demeanour creates an open and friendly environment for players alike, regardless of whether they are experienced or new to the game.
Having personally played with Bill Cooper (Uncle Bill) for years, I can truly attest to his skill and resilience as a player, he is well versed in all vanilla maps and routes, and oftentimes plays custom maps to challenge himself and further build his skillset.
Bill also demonstrates core competencies in Left 4 Dead 2 scripts which he frequently employs in his locally hosted games.
Through this innovative approach, Bill brings an interestingly refreshing take on core concepts of standard Left 4 Dead 2 gameplay whether it is vanilla or custom maps. A solid approach, for any player, a real "game changer"
While this does encourage consistent team communication, feedback has noted that this has been perceived as slightly discriminatory by some players who do not have the money for a microphone/speakers and the orally deaf.
Regardless of the aforementioned critique, Bill Cooper remains and always is renowned for possessing one of the most idiosyncratic personalities in the Left 4 Dead 2 gaming community.
A great bloke.
