Considering what happened over the last days, it's a big thumbs up for this game. Easily GOTY material...

I just don't know what to say with this game. Starting off, it's completely AMAZING. The soundtrack gets you ABSOLUTELY immersed. The mechanics are awesome, and combat is nice, though sometimes buggy. The community, gotta agree, is one of the worst I have ever seen, but as the time passes it gets better. There is a huge problem though. Overkill and Starbreeze, (developers) did a horrible job delivering a game without game-breaking bugs. Personally, as others along me, have a big problem with the internet connection, almost making the game unplayable. Having done some research, I came to the conclusion that Payday : the heist along with Payday 2, are screwing over off a big minority because of this SAME problem. If you have good friends to play this game, it's easily one of my top 8 games AND without all the problems, BUT since I payed 20 Euros to play a game which is problematic, it is kind of a big disappointment. Therefore, I dont recommend this game, because you will either enjoy this game very much, or you will come to hate it as well its developers.. ( Im starting to get less and less problems every time so im finally recommending this game :P )

To say the truth, I didn't exactly know about Batman when I bought it. I mostly thought it was a game about punching everything standing in your way. Playing the game a few hours, I realized that it was more than this. Firstly, the soundtrack (which is one of the first things I notice about every game) was over-the-top, and it had that Batman feeling , which I loved the most about this game. The gameplay, focuses on taking out your enemies stealthily and with the clever use of gadgets, rather than trying to hit everyone as fast as possible. There is also the detective-element, that lets you take your time when not in combat, to explore and understand better your environment. To sum it up, I could go on and on about the numerous good things Batman Arkham City has, because its probably one of the best games of all times. I HUGELY recommend everyone to buy this game, whatever his/hers favorite game genre. 10/10
