I think the turn around for this game is fantastic. While yes not a mmo anymore, as much as i did want that, I do think the product we have now is so much better. Airship has said given suppor thtey do want to continue developing for the game as well so heres hoping!

Since the reviews are being censored now I will leave one as well. I play mainly on my switch/playstation. I've bought this game 3 times just so i can play it where I prefer however then devs have spit in the faces of fans like me who enjoyed the artstyle and world build set up by the past art team for a new censored vision that takes away aspects of the game that people who bought the game really enjoyed. If these things annoyed people then why play the game for 10 plus years without mentioning anything until recent changes, really makes you think. The real issue is the fact that content being payed for (3 times by myself) is being censored and removed. I should be entitled for my full money back however this is not the way this works. Instead all I can do is cation people into buying a game from a company that at the drop of a hat can remove content that you paid for and change the tone of a game from what most people expected it to be into one completely different to appeal to a wider audience. If this is what they wanted make a new damn game dont change something people spent money on its a garbage move from a garbage company that resents its past works and hates the fans that supported it until now. This is not an irreverent review however it will likely get marked as such by weak and cowardly devs.

Despite the Launch issues, Elden Ring manages to be one of the best Souls games ever made. So many builds seem fun and intresting even after heavy investment into my own dex/faith build that I want to respec and try them all out. Bosses are everywhere and despite a few repeat bosses or twins of bosses you've fought earlier From Soft still manages to make dynamic and fights that make you feel just badass once you finally beat them. While I have not engaged with online play the normal dark souls staples of helping/invading players is still strong and will likely keep the game alive for many years after everyone gets though its large world, which even after 54 hours i don't feel I've even put a dent in. You will find plenty of game here and its not just busy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you want to go explore everything. It is a truly amazing experience that I think everyone should at least try even if it ends up not being for them, assuming the frame drop issue is sorted out soon.
