Played it a bit. It's ok I guess.

If you've never played this game, you have missed something integral to gaming. To put it in perspective, imagine you never had ice cream, or went to the beach, pet a cat/dog, smelled the rain, hugged a loved one. Strong contender for best game of all time.

To be honest, it's just boring.

This game melted my brain on more occasions than any other game before. 10/10

Buy Xcom 1 if you didnt play it already and wait for this game to be patched, because it has too many bugs. The core gameplay is still good, yet the sheer number of unpolished game design keeps me from playing.

I played this game for more than 600 hours in total. I started on xbox and I fell in love with it the second it started. But now on PC with all these fancy graphics and maybe some HD mods it looks even better. Buy it with all DLCs during Sale and you're going to make the best deal of your gaming life. I sure did.

Also there is a big modding community making all kinds of different mods for the game, wether it's a lore-friendly overhaul or a nice treehouse in the woods, hell it could even be something crazy just for the heck of entertainment like transforming the dragons into Thomas the Steam-Engine. There are almost no limits, just like the game itself. It's great, buy it and have fun.

With the new content from the DLCs this game got interesting again. It's much more complex now than it used to be. The Developers seem to have taken note of what the players thought of the game, it's better than ever! :D
