Okay, so I have read some of the negative reviews here. So what you guys mean to tell me is that you hate Rise of the Triad because it actually tries to be Rise of the Triad? To me that sounds like you hate the color red because it's the color red, or hate breathing because you have to constantly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ breath or else you'd die of suffocation.

This is a good game imo. As a guy who collects old FPS like Doom, Quake, Duke 3D and so on, I can safetly say it plays exactly like those old games which was obviously what Interceptor was going for. The only difference is that it's on a modern video game engine like Unreal, which most of the shooters from days of old ran on an engine built from the ground up. But none the less, still works as well as you could get. As for the complaint on bugs, I can't really say that I've faced any. The closest thing I could think of that would be considered a bug is the melee attack which I feel sometimes doesn't really work the way it's suppose to.

All in all if you're looking for a shooter that is authentic to the classic, I can't say you could go wrong with this one.

Grinding is impossible and I got stuck on a ramp.

There is not a single Quake game that will work properly on my computer and this particular installment some how messed with my monitor resolution.

I spent the 0.4 hours trying to get this thing to work properly on my computer.

Nobody's playing online, voice acting is annoying, and the AI for the bots seems pretty lousy. Sadly these are the three things that is keeping me from liking this game. The game feels great, I really do like the Smash Bros Melee feel they're going for, the graphics makes it look like it belongs on Dreamcast which is very nice, but unless if you have other people to play with it just doesn't feel like it's worth buying, especially with the full $14 it's asking for. In fact if you ask me this game feels more like it's more worth $4-$5 dollars with how simple it is, luckily that's how much I got it for thanks to the Steam Summer Sale. Perhaps if they had more stuff to do like in Smash Bros like having there own take on "Break the targets" or maybe something like pong where both opponents have to knock the ball into the other's territory or whatever it could amp up the value to 14 bucks in my opinion.

Now this doesn't make it necessarily a bad game, but at the same time with these issues that I find like having nobody to play with, I just can't reccommend it.

Early Access Review
Camera is too close, my computer can barely run it no matter what I've tried even though I heard it can run on an XP computer, combat is too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to adjust to, once an enemy has as much as a teeny tiny knife and starts hitting you it's ALREADY over to the point where you can't even get up. I literally tried within the 42 minutes of playing this game to adjust to the gameplay and trying to find some enjoyment from playing it but all I ended up doing was shouting at my computer screen and immediatley uninstalling this game from my computer.

Minimum requirements for this game is a WINDOWS XP, a computer that has been around since 2001. And I don't care what specific parts the XP would need, there is still absolutely no reason at all for my computer to struggle trying to play this game. My computer may be crappy as hell, but there's still no excuse none the less. I do not like this game no matter how hard I tried.

Tried because the little mascot kinda looks like Vault-boy, had to quit after realizing it's a freemium cookie clicker.

A game where I could FINALLY be able to play a game of cards that isn't "Card Against Humanity" online.
